I can download any show on TV within a couple of minutes after it airs. If i'm lucky some group released a pre-air hours or even days before regular air. Its just all about knowing where to look.:)
I don't understand why everyone seems to think the price will go up on the first day. The auction is designed so the that initial price is as high as people are willing to pay. This means that the price can only go down at least in the short term.
I think the legal case can be made that one has a right to do this under the first amendment as well as for other reasons. For one, you could argue that you arr not really "sharing" the files. You just put them on YOUR computer for YOUR personal use. If someone happens to download them due to bad security...oh well. But besides that it really is a free speech issue. How can the government tell someone what electric pulses are allowd to come out of their computer. And finally my favorite arguement. The RIAA could always come up with a rule that would turn ANY file into a song. All they would have to do is come up with a special codec for that file to match that song. When you think about it for a song to be illegal the codec must be recognized. But then who's to say what is recognized and what is not? This is a slippery slope.
On #2 however it may be that the discord over his presidency in not really over him but over those controlling him. It doesn't matter who the puppet is there will still be decent because the ideas will be the same.
I guess its just that I don't listen to top 40 radio music. When they start making good new music that they play on the radio i'll start downloading it.
I've been a student in these new programs. They are FAR worse than the old. Take the CMP and CORE math curriculums. Everything in them is a word problem. You will never see anything abstract in one of these. What happens is the student learns how to do something for one problem, and then can't apply it to anything else. To make matters worse teachers that fallow the curriculum exactly never tell the students how to apply what they learn on one problem to other problems. Also there is a tendency for the curriculum to make up words that may sound more intuitive or something but when the student goes on to higher math they have no idea what to do because they learned a bunch of fake language. Even the students don't like this. In both the junior high and high school in my district the student news papers have had editorials on how bad CORE is. The junior high newspaper did it as a point counterpoint with one headline reading "I hate core!" and the other "I hate core more!" As you can see this is a serious problem.
What you say may be true to some extent but when you go to the opposite extreme it can become EXTREMELY problematic. Take the CMP and CORE math curriculums. Everything in them is a word problem. Actually I believe its "I'm not quite sure about the former" or something like that.
I very much loved wellstone but he wasn't the only one to vote against the iraq war.

Funny you should mention this. Just last night on CNN I heard somone actually refer to the "Post 9/11 New World Order." It sent shivers up my spine.

I have never downloaded a fake music file. I don't know what all the fuss is about.
I don't know what any of you are talking abuot. I've never downloaded a fake song. Sometimes movies are mislabeled but I no longer use p2p for that.
"If you have a secret that gets out there, how do you get the genie back in the bottle?" Hale said.
You don't.
It will take all of 5 minutes for a group to release a new key gen that is compatible with SP2.
I meta-mod all positive moderation Unfair, because it's abuse of the system.
Huh?
NOTHING is less reasonable than the war on drugs!

Thats not really true. There is pretty much always a TC after a CAM. Nobody likes cams and they are banned from many sites.
Actually I much prefer the DVDRip to the screener.
