that these problems aren't an evolution of humans? That all these kids that "can't" interact "appropriately" face-to-face, but often have the ability to interact via computers, cellphones, etc. (yes even some of the "sitting moaning" kids are like that) aren't just dropping the inefficient method of interaction and evolving to be better at the more efficient method?
in the fridge in an old catchup bottle. But I make sure to cross out catchup with a sharpie and write cord blood on there, every since my husband's incident after our first baby...
Breastfed babies do indeed get iron. The iron in breastmilk, in fact, is the best absorbed source of iron for babies (they can't absorb the iron in formula as well). Breastmilk provides all the nutrients a baby needs.
But it is indeed a good idea to let the baby get the nutrients from the cord blood, as they won't be getting nutrients from breastmilk immediately after birth.
I use sustainable, non-destructive methods to grow my food. They should do the same, and if the soil isn't good enough to grow enough food to sustain a growing population, they should stop making a growing population. If we stay in balance with nature, it provides us with what we need to survive. If a few people try to take more than their share, all living things get fucked over.
Or just stop giving them food and things will even out - without enough food to sustain a fetus, women stop ovulating. Eventually their population will be a size that can be sustained by their natural food resources. Let's not fuck up the whole world to keep a culture alive that can't see that when food is scarce they should not grow their population.
Now the middle class has robot maids or contraptions to make housekeeping easy, computers and devices that do much of the work of houseservants, etc. And a much bigger house than they use to have, but now they spend so little time in it that it doesn't get very dirty so a maid would be pointless. They spend most of their money on their appearance to others outside the house (in the form of expensive clothes, expensive cars, etc. etc.) rather than focusing on happiness inside the house. The middle class could still afford houseservants, maids, etc. if that was what they chose to put their money towards. I know several middle class people that have a "cleaning service" come to their house weekly - basically a modern day maid.
"IT Professionals" encompasses such a wide range of jobs that it may be like that, or it may be not at all like that. Usually when someone refers to themselves as an IT Professional (rather than a more descriptive title), it isn't at all like that.
Water flows downhill; 1 = on and 0 = off. Sometimes water stops flowing or doesn't flow as far as expected, and you have to figure out why and fix that. But 1 always equals on and 0 always equals off.
Yes IT is more difficult because it requires a lot more critical thinking and there's a lot more variety in what can go wrong. But at their core they are both based on skills which much be learned - IT just has more skills which must be learned. In fact I would say that because of that, plumbing lends itself more to the whole "sit in a school" way of teaching.
If you're going to do things that way, you might as well not work from home. Sure, don't take calls from extended family or from friends, unless you would do the same thing in an office. But one of the perks of working from home is that you can be there for your spouse and kids.
In what way is plumbing, etc. a far different sort of job than IT? All require skills which must be learned. And the majority of people graduating highschool in the US today have WAY more IT knowledge than they have plumbing knowledge - a lot of them already know what would be taught in the first few semesters of an IT degree.
Well, we can already take an egg and sperm of extra hairy humans, fertilize the egg, and put it into the womb of a less hairy woman. How did we figure out we could do all that without trying?
So you were born knowing how put together a computer, connect it to the internet, and post on Slashdot? You didn't have to read nor be told anything about that at all?
Businesses need to stop looking at it that way. You have to give the customers what they want, and you have to evolve. I'm not saying people have a right to take it; my point is that if the businesses looked at the real reasons people are pirating and adjusted their practices to give people what they want, they would sell a lot more product.
The problem with buying a game and then cracking it is that the business doesn't see that you cracked it, they only see that you bought instead of pirating, which to them says the DRM is working and they should keep putting it on.
Because you're not at a store nor a computer, you don't carry cash, and you want to buy something.
I could see this being very useful at conventions, small-business events (where people are all over the store and outside and etc. and they only have one "real" card reader), and for freelancers. The card readers at walmart, at the gas station, at any random ATM, etc. and this are all equally potentially unsafe.
Since when is maxing out your own credit card illegal?

You're spreading lies by saying that Aviation Pete is spreading lies. Breastfeed and take your baby in the sun, and it will be fine.

Sorry, it's too late, I have already gained the ability to feel, so you'd only be able to abort me if I was either tasty or guilty of certain crimes.
He shot himself, not someone else. And he could consent to the surgery.
That's totally different, MegaUpload was committing sins against our almighty lords the RIAA & MPAA.
They made it too easy for the vehicle to go out of control.

We could already get rid of a large portion of birth defects, if so many people didn't have their silly dislike of abortion.

If that were true then the free-to-play microtransaction games wouldn't exist.
Just as there's nothing stopping a person from saying "screw insurance" and simply paying for their health care.

I wish I had thought of paying them in this way when the MPAA sued me.
