Every one of those "service packs" Apple released has contained significant new functionality. They were not simply bug fixes. In the same time it took Microsoft to release Vista Apple has released 4 significant new OS versions at a reasonable price. At least we don't have to pay $299 for transparent windows and slow file copy operations.
I agree 100% with this comment. In order for Apple to do business with the Devil, they have to accept the Devil's terms. Apple has some sway with the record labels, but DRM was the sticking point and Apple had no choice. Blame the RIAA and MPAA, its those idiots that are to blame for your rights being taken away.
I completely agree with everything you've said. There has to be some give and take here. Apple is right to hold back licensing fairplay until the other companies start playing ball with Apple. All they want is a piece of the pie and not have to pony up anything. The problem for those other companies is that Apple has the steam and money in the bank to outrun them all in the music business. Napster will die soon and become nothing but a bad memory, and they don't have anyone else but themselves to blame.
Agreed. If they want to start getting serious about banning violent content then they should lead by example and ban the Bible. Of course there are many passages in the Bible that are not violent, but there are also many games out there where violence is not the main focus, either.
Somehow I can see those religious nuts having a double-standard on this particular issue, however.
How in blue hell did House of the Dead only get to #22 on the "Worst Films" list? Did anyone even see it? I rented it knowing it was going to be bad, but sometimes bad movies can be fun if done properly. However, when the characters went from clumsy idiots, running around scared and screaming their heads off to wielding a gun in each hand and pulling off Matrix-style moves it just became so rediculous.
Uwe Boll must be stopped.

I've also had it for that long. I thought it was a neat feature, but I can honestly say I've never really used it for anything. I use Gmail to check my email, not to get news headlines or anything (thats what a tool bar full of links is for).
I only use a pop-up blocker and thats because most sites I visit throw an ad up in front of what I am reading. Its intrusive and annoying. I generally do not block ads on the page, nor do I even look at them. Those types of ads are completely ineffective to me as I am able to just ignore them completely. I'm not sure what method would be more effective, but it certainly is not pop-ups/unders or embedded ads.

Do some research. The iPhone will allow 3rd party software. The OS is NOT Symbian based..it is OS X through and through. http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/11/apple-announces -third-party-software-details-for-iphone/

Actually, no. They were 500MHz White iBook G3's, and they run OS X just beautifully. Trev
I, for one, welcome our new microdrive robot overlords.
