Freaky... I was planning on doing this this weekend, when I go home, since that's where my soldering iron is.
On another note: "This site is shutdown temporarily due to the slashdot effect."
the Tablet PC just brings us one step closer to the PADD devices from Star Trek. All they need to do is make it an LCARS interface, ditch all input devices, and make it a touch screen.
Then we'll be cooking with... dylithium...
*man sticks his finger in his nose*
*a loud grinding and clicking sound ensues*
We're sorry, but the man with a hard drive up his nose has been canceled due to technical problems. Now here is a man with a DVD player up his nose.
I've been using Trillian for months. Less memory usage than ICQ, and without the nasties of AIM. The XML based skinning abilites are nice too. I quite enjoy it.
Hey, don't joke about that. My hometown is trying to pass a law that says you have to pay $15 or something to hold a yard/garage sale, and can only have a maximum of 2 per year.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't Winamp doing this already? I know the program doesn't run on UNIX or Linux based systems, and unto itself isn't Open-Source, but it is expandible.
This is a weird subject, really. GPL is good, but when you really think about it, source code for government software isn't really something that should fall into the wrong hands...
Ad-Aware works pretty well
That is... until I manage to get myself a katana :D
Google's cache I love how they are charging 19.99 for a derivant of a free product... doesn't that violate the GPL?

Actually, that was Snotty. Scotty is the cheif engineer on the Enterprise (NCC-1701)
Then you're going to get a lower quality copy. Granted, going from jack-to-jack won't be too bad, but it'll be there.
I need to renew my subscription...
Silmarilion as a movie? That book made my head hurt...
You could just copy and paste the link
and I quote "Sorry, links to Bugzilla from Slashdot are disabled." Looks like someone has the right idea.
Not all Americans are that way, but too many of us that act that way.
Congradulations. You are hereby awarded the "worst grammar" award.
Please bash your head into the nearest wall to claim your prize.

I think he meant DDoS, not DoD

Maybe if we hide it in Star Trek technobabble...
What about E-ISA? Those would hurt alot more.
2600? Hmm.. Coincidence or conspiracy..?
I can't see this possibly going through, even the stupidest of judges would have to grasp the concept of Google's search ranking
