  1. Re:+4 Interesting my fat, hairy ass on Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets Leaked · · Score: 1

But I'm not stealing money from the record company that owns the rights to the music because I had no intention of buying it in the first place. Therefore I have no intention of giving MY money to the record company in the first place and am really just not giving them any revenue.

The way you say it, you make it sound like I'm causing them to lose revenue (which stealing would be doing). But really, I'm just not giving them any more revenue. They consider it stealing because they don't make as much revenue as they project they will from their next one-hit-wonder!

On a sidenote, at least they're reducing the amount of paper used to print those often useless textbooks professors make us buy!!

The MSRP on a 2003 Ford F-150 is around $20,000 USD.

The MSRP on a 2003 Honda Insight is about the same, $20,000 USD.

It's clear that the hybrid car at roughly the same price will start saving you money almost immediately.

What about all those attacks we've heard about with these so-called "Smart bombs" that hit their intended target without error, only to find out later that the target was completely bogus in the first place??

Technology is only as good as the human error that screws it up!

IANAL, but wouldn't Massa have to pay Google royalties for profitting off an invention of Google's?? By admitting this in his motion for an injunction, he's basically tied the noose around his neck. All Google has to do is slap the horse's ass!

  13. Software companies not really losing money on Lucky Green vs. Palladium · · Score: 1

since all the people willing to buy their software, do in fact, buy it. They are technically not losing money because that money was never theirs in the first place. Software is pirated by those who can't afford to actually pay for it and would therefore never give their money to the company in the first place.
