Reminds me of this novel where there's an organzation that won't finance something unless it's crazy and has no chance of succeeding. I believe its motto was Bread cast upon water multplies sevenfold. In the novel the organization finances a novel way of communicating between Earth and starships.
The developers at my company are very tech-savvy and have no problem taking care of and their workstations, it's the execs I have to worry about.
I showed them my Powerbook G4 and jeaslousy set in. Now we're standardizing on iBook G4s for traveling execs. No more worrying about them coming back from a trip w/ a virus, no spyware either.

Well maybe my standards are lower than yours after running Linux as a desktop. I just want my desktop to WORK and WORK it does in OS X.
All I can think of is better browsing of Windows/Samba networks. That's it. Panther does everything I need it to do and quietly and competently.
