so when your job ends up being in india you'll be able to talk to your boss in his own language. Although chances are they'll already speak english quite well. But finding a scholarship for "Indian (dot, not feather) studies" would be more productive realistically and pragmatically than looking for a scholarship for tech-based study.

that being said, i think the word "vaccine" in the title of this thread is highly misused... it seems these shots allow people to quit smoking much more easily.

I don't think atheism is fairly called a religion. The problem is that the word atheism ends in '-ism' which is a suffix that implies "one who does something." If 98% of people are playing dodgeball does that mean the 2% who refuse to do so are nondodgeballists? Just because someone refuses to take part in something doesn't mean their non-action is in itself an action of partaking in something else. If you ask me to play dodgeball and I say no thanks, I have not gone on to start my own game, i've simply declined to join you in yours. Only for the religious majority (the majority being the ones who come up with the words we use) could calling atheism "a religion" be a convenient use of symantics. It's meant to be insulting, in effect saying religion is inescapable, even if you refuse to join us in religion, that very refusal is tantamount to starting your own religion. That's bullshit. Nonbelief is not a nother form of belief, even though both can be re-phrased as saying "i believe in god/no god." A true atheist simply doesn't believe in god and religion. Atheists don't go to atheist-church and they don't pray to a nonexistant god. Again, just because I don't join you doesn't mean i've gone and joined something else.

Nope, it's by far the worst non-reality show ever to disgrace the airwaves. Not only is it not funny, but the timing of the show is so miserable that it makes me sick... after every 'joke' there is a 20 second pause as the camera focuses on the actor and plays the laugh-track. Every one stays frozen for 20 seconds or so as this continues. It's horrible. And the jokes are never funny.

Example: A girl walks in with a pretty red dress, raymond say "You look like a prostitute" and the laugh track plays for 20 seconds as the camera stays focused on Raymond (it might shift over to the girl in the dress to show her outraged face for 10 or 15 seconds afterwards). How this show can stay on tv baffles me.

I think people watch this show and think it's sophisticated and intelligent because it has piano music as the theme song. It must be sophisticated if that's the case....

Since christianity is a 'choice' (not genetic, as there is no 'christian gene') you would see no constitutional problem, since constitutional rights such as free exercise of religion and equal protection don't apply to choices?
