Ya, but no one ever checks to see if you really have a high school diploma or not. You only need one if you want to get into college. Looking back the only thing I got out of high school was some social skills.
I definitely wish I had dropped out at 16 worked full time while flipping burgers and living with my parents for two years Then I would have had at least $30,000 to start my own business put a down payment on a house or even go to community college with my GED that I could have gotten in a week.
It just spooks me out how you can get sued and lose a ton of money without anyone in the country knowing that what you were doing was illegal in the first place. It almost feels like getting convicted of a crime that they made up after you did it.
look kids, there may be 800 trillion people in chinaa but the reality is a lot of them live way out in some mining town where they don't have tv's or anything else related to modern civilization. They are really, really poor. The people in china buying game boys will be the people in the urban areas. And there is a lot higher tv to person ratio there.
Hey kids check out this crazy book i just found. It's magical. You type in what your looking for and it tells you the answer. I know books are nice and they sit in your lap and you can read them on the bus and stuff, but linux it a perfect example of the fact that software and technology moves a lot faster than a publisher. The time it takes to write, assemble and print a book on linux will make it obselete the day it comes out. I know books can be really helpful. I have "running linux" sitting on a bookshelf next to me. It's just that when i learned linux 90% of what i learned was from reading the wonderful web pages written by hundreds of people around the world who were kind enough to share their knowledge. A new day is upon us. And i think that's the first thing you should tell a newbie when they ask what book they should buy.
Thank You. By the way if anyone is wondering it's called "The Dark Knight Returns". If anyone ever goes outside the should go to a comic book store and buy it. Or they could probably just order it used online.
Universities will do anything for money it seems.
Although the real estate tax on a '300 year old cottage on Cape Cod' probably pays for quite a few subsidized school lunches.
Ya, but this umbrella is 'patented'.

I wonder how much money the school has asked for from the county for vocational training and job placement assistance for graduating seniors?
