    Nope.
    Luckly my bandwith stays the same. The thing is that the cable TV portion is uncapped whereas your internet is capped at 3.5.

    use the nice command. ie. # nice -15 emerge -u world It schedules the task at a lower priority and allows you to do other tasks. I usualy watch movies on the same machine while compiling.

    I use various methods for filtering spam but by far the most effective one is to just randomly delete files ;)

    actually unlike java which I use .NET is completely free.
    It is a recognized standard.
    Its kinda wierd that microsoft would hand its IP over to a standards body knowing their track record of monopolizing.
    Don't get me wrong I like java and use it but I wish it was open like C or C++ and C#.

    This is interesting but what about the fact that in diffent cultures eye contact is considered rude or a chalange of ones authority?
    Will the software have some sort of flag that would reverse the values if the user happens to be japanese or certian native american tribes?
    Also what about people who are shy or have low self esteem. They would become electronic outcasts just as in real life.

    here is how to replicate this problem.
    go to the site http://goatse.cx

    to protect yourself from this hole follow these easy steps:
    1) download a browser that allows you to block images, or one with no images (eg. mozilla, opera, or lynx)
    2a) for lynx no further modification is necessary
    2b)other wise you must manualy block images from goatse

    It should be noted that lynx or other text browsers are the best choice as they also will protect you from holes on hick.org and other sites.

    It should also be noted that these steps will protect you from popups and security exploits that occur so frequently in IE.

    t's our servers, we can block *.* if we want to.
    I do this and I have found it to be extremely sucessful.
    Since I did this I haven't got a single spam email.
    It also stops annoying people who have my email address from contacting me.
