I spent a decade living in London, was awesome. Flatshare, then you get a huge house and great mates! I did that for a while. Just make it close to a train or tube stop and life is sweet. I also got a 1 bed apartment when I got a wife, that was small, but meters from tube station and main shopping road. You spend all your time in the pub, partying, participating in sport teams and travelling at any rate when living in London, so just need a place to crash really. Back living in NZ now bringing up kids, that's something you wouldn't want to do in London. But you stick to what you think life might be like in London and feel better about your decisions, that's cool too.
The irony is that I've found I've spent a lot of my time in Android trying to find stuff like texting apps which emulate iOS's:-) Some of the good things about the restriction, is that it forces app developers in to having to do it Apple's way, so restrictive, but makes things seamless/consistent. However the restriction is annoying, when I can't make Chrome and Google Maps the defaults, or have to manually trigger the lastpass extension to fill in logins.
My personal experience is that Android is more likely to stutter and freeze momentarily (even after updates and factory resets, they start off smooth then after a few days/weeks, seem to slow). I've found iOS to behave smooth like butter compared to smooth like margarine with a couple pinches of sand.
As a Nexus, followed by Samsung and now Apple user, I have to say, you're a moron if you believe that dribble. Android is very flexible, get one if you want to tweak and customize stuff. Apple phones are consistent, fluid and reliable, get one if you want it to just work. Each to their own.
"if I am paying for Netflix anyway, is there any harm being done?" Yes, hundreds of kittens will be murdered and the tooth fairy will get run over if you watch downloaded shows that weren't downloaded right.
"He brought this on himself." Because he lawfully boarded a plane and had a right to stay?
"Next time should they ask pretty please, with a cherry on top?" Yes, they should, a way of doing that is increasing compensation amounts until enough people take it.
"Disregard a flight crew AND law enforcement at your own peril. News at 11." So if a flight crew or cop said "stand up and take off all your clothes while I piss on you" you'd simply roll over and take it? Actually, don't answer that last one.
"Aircraft landing gear are designed to land in a straight line, they are not designed to handle side loads." Better tell that to all the pilots before they start landing in crosswinds! Oh wait...
Poe's Law dude, people are reading "Until they can show peer reviewed research showing climate change, I'm not believing it." and nodding in agreement right now. But don't worry, Trump will fix it and it will be glorious!
OK, starting to get an idea of your mindset. So how do you justify removing restrictions on fucking the environment? Do you think that large corporations will simply "be nice" to the environment and have a track record of "being nice"? What about the encouragement of burning coal for power over renewables? Do you think breathing what's released in to the environment from burning fossil fuels is fine and scientists correlating deaths due to it are nonsense or something?
Wait so Americans are so messed up, they would actually WANT: EPA loses all climate research funding, and about half the research funding targeted at human health impacts of pollution. The Energy Star program is eliminated; Superfund funding is drastically reduced. The Chesapeake Bay and Great Lakes cleanup programs are also eliminated, as is all screening of pesticides for endocrine disruption. In the Department of Commerce, Sea Grant is eliminated, along with all coastal zone research funding. Big boost to warfare.
Seriously? It's blindly obvious how this is gonna fuck things up, how can you still accept it?
This isn't a story about cell phones, change your knickers and take a deep breath, lady!
If you've got a Samsung, I'd just be content that it's not burning your house down and leave it at that.
I wouldn't worry too much. One man can't hold back the tide.

You must be fucked off Obama took all your guns too.
Damn Gavron, calm the fuck down! Guys just asking a question!
Suggest laying off donuts and coffee for breakfast.
Stick your computer in front of an air conditioner instead?

wow.
Those poor bastards, I really feel for them.
Piracy is to blame.
Have you ever had an issue with electric parking breaks in all your decades of driving?

Pff, they don't require refueling because they have a wind turbine on top, charges itself as it flies. Dah.
Mark. My. Words.

4 year olds can know numbers and letters.
E.g. "what letter/number is this".
Kids vary wildly at that age in what they have learned though.
It's not a good result.
It's a fucken amazing result for a 4 year old.
