  1. Why use any bleeping letter acronym at all? How hard is it to just say "2560x1440"? Clear, unambiguous, and doesn't require a google search to understand.

    The OnePlus Two is also compatible with all carriers. It's also half the price of most high-end smartphones.

    How does it appear on your annual review when you *intentionally* created a bug at the request of the marketing department? Is that good or bad?

    Can anyone state a reason why Yahoo still exists? Do they do anything at all that isn't done better by someone else?

    They should have gone bust back around 2003. They're certainly on the road to bankruptcy; it's just taking a painfully long time.

    No, Matrox was ruined by it's two co-CEOs. Neither of them had a clear vision of the future; but having two competing leaders never works well.

    It would be better if it became the habit to spend money on security. That $8500 would have gone a long way towards decent security measures.

    One wonders, though, what an elementary school district needs with 25 servers (or more; tfa says 25 were affected). What was so mission critical that it was worth paying cash to get back? Why not just format the affected machines, reinstall, and be done with it? The database that says litte Timmy got a B last year just aren't mission critical.

    Basically, a supercapacitor on a chip could be the next generation "battery" everyone is seeking for mobile phones etc.

    If this were true, manufacturers would be using existing discrete supercapacitors in phones; but they aren't, are they?

    Integrating components on chip merely drives your costs down; it does not bring added functionality.

    Besides, most people refer to her neither as "Carly" or "Ms. Fiorina", but as "that #**@ who ruined HP".

    There have been some "big announcements" in other hard science fields from China in the past decade or two that have turned out to be bogus.

    Why pick on China? Every country on the planet has been guilty of this. Until a scientific finding has been peer reviewed, and hopefully duplicated, it's just cold fusion all over again.

    You need to ask "better for whom".... better for the end user, or better for advertisers?

    QA still needs to test the entire product every single release, no matter what was added or changed.

    And just because you *can* slip an unfinished feature to the next release, doesn't mean your bosses will be happy about it.

    I'm consistently seeing +4/+5 moderated posts calling something spam or a bullshit topic.

    I'm also tired of seeing perfectly reasonable comments moderated as -1 Troll. Expressing disagreement is not the same as trolling.

    No, it's *worse* than autocorrect. If you look at twitter, Facebook, or any social media, you'll find that people have completely horrible spelling and grammar. Swiftkey will try to make your posts look just like theirs.

    I'm sure that after replying to their boss with a "Like totally dude, sounds rad" text message, most people will turn this feature off.
