What you guys need is the new "Big Tim" cup from Tim Hortons.
This Coffee cup holds an entire pot of coffee and keeps it warm all day long. Also it has a big warning on it NOT TO DRINK FROM IT. But I do anyways. All it looks like is a giant coffee cup. For sure it would be a good gift for the coffee drinkers alike.
Coffee might be a powerfull drug but it's sort of like smoking. Quitting it can be hard because of habit not the actual drinking.
When you make a pot of coffee the house has that nice coffee smell and even to pour the coffee into your mug has that nice sound. The first sip in the morning etc etc.
Coffee as an addiction is more of a mental thing then it is a physical thing. Same with smoking.
Don't compare coffee to coke... but compare it to smokes and your set
Linux isn't too hard on my machine. Although the specs are somewhat wierd:/
Solosoft
--------
1 Intel Pentium Pro 200MHz oc'd 233MHz 256k L2 Cache
128mb EDO SIMMS
nVidia GeForce 2MX (32mb) PCI
AWE64 ISA
Even with these old stats it runs perfectly fine. I even installed KDE and it was plenty quick. It only touches about 40mb of RAM but it's mostly just X. The HDD hardly swaps, but when it does my my it does.
I can hardly move the mouse, this is rare tho...
EFnet used to be alot like that. I stoppped hanging around that area after I kept getting hit. But EFnet is like a "city". You enter the wrong area "bad neighbourhood" your going to get in trouble. I used to hang out in those areas. Never did anything bad but just knew some people and ended up in those channels.
Most of the time, I noticed it's VERY young kids with a DDoS net but most of the time it's not their DDoS net. Also, if you "buddy buddy" with them they will show you the net to brag and show how cool they are. Them being stupid would DDoS me sometimes and I would log the packets. Of course to see if it would effect me (which my server was WAY too slow at the time to handle any of that DDoS the most I would see come in is like 50k/s so they couldn't take my line just bog my computer to a bitch. While I was logging I would simply find there address in there and match it with the IRC txt and send it into there ISP. Most of the time they would come back a few days later complaining there ISP sent them a warning. It was actually kinda funny. "What you mean I can get into trouble for this".
Actually one program I found REALLY good for things like that is "Deep Freeze". It lets boot up and you notice nothing different but you CAN'T change the drive. Once you reboot it will go back to normal. Your user could delete the windows dir, it would break then simply reboot and it comes back. This would be good for more public computers not as much a "personal" computer. You can always "thaw" a drive if you wanted to tho.
I like those kinda things. When people see some plain MP3 player they think it sucks... but show them somthing pretty and they will be all awwed. "You mean it can play music AND look good". I setup a 33.6 Modem just for the blinky lights. For sure blinky lights and a nice design sells for me.
If it works out for cars why not computers ?
Just cause you don't like it doesn't mean 50,000 people don't like it. Im sure apple will make a nice pretty colour "normal" IPOD and it will sell better then the plain white one.
Who is going to use this ?

What if people don't use it ?
I would never pay to send e-mail. The point of e-mail is to send stuff to people quickly and for free.
I don't think this is going to happen... but that's me
Oh... this is the pic of me going to camp, oh this is the part where I setup a fire... bluescreen... bluescreen... oh and here is me leaving camp... oh another blue screen
oh well... it would be cool having blue screens on my photo album.
wait... no it wouldn't
FlashMX is fine... but it would be nice to have shockwave on Linux without having to emulate it or hack it up.
The one thing I miss is all my nice shockwave games I play on my windows machine. Shockwave Pong Game
They can forward flash to linux but c'mon... you know you all want shockwave. Plus all the nifty games you can play like the cool ninja game where your a stick man and you get to fight other stick men...
Classic
haha... I know... and also no it's in Ontario Canada... prolly now known as "St.Josephs" or somthing... also I spent 5 minutes on that site... atleast it works and better then some apache page
It is there free service... if you don't like it use somthing else like google or yahoo.
Let MSN do what they wish... you keep doing what your doing and they keep doing what there doing.
Just my 2 cents
Just do what the canadian goverment did. When gas prices where WAY too high they brought in there own chain of gas stations "Petro Canada". There actually goverment ran and force the others to keep a low price.
Linux support is nice... but actually getting all the features ?
Actually speaking about features:) I wonder if someone could send me a link on how to map these little buttons on my keyboard. This is my first time updating my keyboard in... well since 1984 (I had a old ME 101). Anywho... would anyone have a page to read or somthing on mapping the windows key to do somthing (popup a windowmaker menu or somthing) and this "sun" "moon" and "power" button my my keyboard. It came with these buttons so I mas well use them now.
Thanks
Think about what slashdot can do to a website. Imagine how hard those phones will be hit and the streaming media.
I hope we get some good "pay your fees you cock smoking teabaggers" on the phone. For sure im going to laugh at that. Also all the linux people on there just wasting time. Im sure there going to edit the phone calls before streaming them tho. I sure hope they do cause if not it's going to be nothing but trolls
From the looks of the website the offical program does not support Linux, but does support Mac OS 8+, Windows and OS X.
By support you do mean FULL support or some half assed support you get from a "normal" mouse driver.
I want to be able to flick my wrist and open up apps or somthing
The mouse does look cool tho for someone who likes to browse the internet while slanting like the guy in the picture. He seems to like it... but the price kind of pulls me away. Im happy with my Logitech Optical Mouse (plain jane 3 button with wheel).
This new napster will NEVER be as good as the old one. College students generally don't have much money or don't want to spend there money on music.
Why buy the music when you can get it for free and it sounds just the same.
Also is this subscription music like streaming audio, if so what kinda quality ?
Let them... when you have 15,000 MP3's you'll notice when it does this and it will only take X amount of time before someone cracks Windows Media Player.
Whatever they send out it seems crackers will crack it
as long as XMMS plays my music im happy
Last time I checked debians "apt-build" worked quite nice. It even had a little page to let me choose defult GCC options.
Some things are nice to compile and some are not.
Example being somthing you want to check out or somthing too big for your CPU.
Although some packages are nice to compile (mplayer) and such I like debian cause I can choose what I want to compile or even apt-get build-dep a package and get it to install of of the things needed to compile.
I wouldn't be mad ?
There just taking it safe...
What if SCO is really not lying about this one and does sue them. One fee times X amount of servers sounds like more then some "small" fee compared to that
If I was a big company I would prolly do that to but that's me

It makes sense
GTA = Liberty City , Vice City , San-Andreas
GTA3 = Liberty City , Vice City , San-Andreas
GTA4 = GTA London Maps , GTA 2 Maps ???
Maybe ?
yeah ? but if intel supports things such as the C120 webcam (some 10 dollar webcam I got on sale) Why complain ?
If somthing works don't complain
www.sco.com ... but as SCO'y as you can get.
There for all your SCO Viewing Pleasures. Might be a little old
Hey ... do you know where I can download one of these Linux Commercials ?
This might be one commercial I _want_ to see
Grand Theft Auto 1 has all the citys that they are making. Note that GTA1 has Liberty City and Vice City ... what's next ?
