Plus paint ball has another dimension - ammo. With the hoppers of ammo that most paintball guns carry, and the only limitation is your wallet as far as reloads go, spray and pray takes on a new dimension. Pick up a real gun and try to hump around several hundred rounds of ammo for it - and then spray a target till you make a hit, and see what the sarge has to say about your "tactics". Paintball is to combat as SCA is to swordfighting.

My greatest wish (Yeah, it's wierd get over it) is to do the Battle on Little Round Top in Lego men...and from there "do" the entire Civil War ("War of Northern Aggression" for you folk south of the Mason-Dixon line) in Lego. The cannon are there, the Cavalry ... just gimme the gray soldiers!! (btw PlayMobil already has/had them - they used to have cav and artillary too)

What I don't see is "Hey, I am volunteering my skillz at the local school to help out the admins. I also work to show these young hackers how to help grow thier skillz and to put to good use all that creativity and energy."

The TEACH Act is meant for situations just like yours. A bit of reading here or here should get you going. It is by no means a smooth path, for instance I cannot copy the laser discs we own, even to preserve them - let alone embed parts of them in power point presentations, like we want to do. One thing I do know is that copyright, as applies to schools is a gradient of gray, never black and neverwhite.

  16. No One Gets It on Is WiFi Access Worth $10/hour? · · Score: 1

I will respond to this like I respond to companies and web sites. It has absolutly zero to do with generating profit and 100% to do with advertizing. Your web master should be beholden to your Advertizing VP and you should think of your $$$ spent of web site development as advertising. Lets face it, for darn near everyone these days - if you need a product what do you do?? Google it. Plain and simple. Spend money on TV, the paper, mags ....and the web - but relize the web is becoming your "street side" display
    -
    -
Back on topic - this is just another form of advertizing. Airports charge an obscene amount of money to tap into the net. Why? I really don't know. I rank it up there with bathrooms, carpet on the floor, and poorly padded chairs. Why should they provide it for free? Cuz most business travelers would prefer it to peanuts in flight - and cost wise it just might me less.
No, I am not saying drop ads into the web feeds - I am saying it is it's own form of advertizing - treat it that way and you will be a much happier business (Hey Phil - new numbers out today - people prefer AmeriAir cuz we have 802.11g!

Nice troll, but I will bite. You said it yourself, insurance companies insisting on AIDS tests. Imagine I can keep your bottom line profitable - all we have to do is find away to insure the healthy. How could we do this?? If only the Government had a database of all citizens, thier likes, dislikes, crimes, and habits, and thier health too. Then, there you go, we only have to insure the top 1% and make scads of money. On the other hand, we (and all insurance companies) avoid that bottom 20% - way to costly - and what do you know, those with perfect health are the ones who are going to keep it, those without - will never get there.

Too far fetched? Try this on - I got caught driving on a revoked license (unpaid tabs ticket). When it hit my insurence - it went sky high - why? They treat it excatly as if I had got a DUI. How can they do this? - because 1. They all do it 2.They have free rights to my driving record. Should they be able to have a look at it? sure, why not, should they have actuarial go over it with a fine tooth comb? No, if you want to be in the insurance biz except the risks - that is after all what you are doing - insuring risk.

And as long as we are being insulting , I dont smoke at all - life long asthmatic, but perhaps you might want to unravel yourself from the flag long enough to pick up a history book and read about the abuses of government.

While it is true that the innocent SHOULD have nothing to fear the sad fact is that this is not true.

I have little patience with people just concerned with their privacy.

Most of them are just people who don't want to be caught should they ever decide to commit a crime. Guess what sherlock that is part of the reason for introducing such a thing.

You have never commited a crime? Any Crime? Anything at all? Speeding, minor tax evasion, jaywalking? I am gladdened to know that at least there is One Pure Soul in the world still. Moreover, as privacy is not an issue, may I have your name and city of residence? I actually DO work for the Government, so I assure you that it will only be passed on to my boss as an example of faith.
