I was twice your age when they told me thiat - I lost tthe weight and my blood pressure dropped to that of a 16 year old girl for a while - If you are on meds at 24, you need to seriously look at what you eat. I hand out as many copies of OpenOfice as I can - next month when the JavaDesktop comes out - I am paying, out of my own pocket, the $20 for Staroffice ( campus and student computer Lic.) and (if they hold true) $ 20 for the Java desktop (same Lic.)
And to answer your question, yeah, free, is still cheaper, but inertia is stronger...sad...I am even going to contact SUSe and REDHAT to make it available for our students... few takers..but...have to try
