    I like the bit about the cat... i makes me think of sending this to microsoft:

    Microsoft,
    the cat walked across my keyboard and created the virus and sent it to everyone in my address book. Can i have my $250k now?.. you can punish my cat.

    Of course the "deposit" will be a "Non-refundable" deposit. There would also be the monthly rental... so more money for the bribe^H^H^H^H^H political contributions.

    From what i read, basically it is about automatically storing a disk image in a database of each machine. This image is transfered over the WWW.
    I have done something similar:
    Using norton ghost and windows scheduler schedule norton ghost to dump the disk at midnight each night to the windows server drive.. each machine backs up its own hdd to the server. The only difference is that i used windows networking (sometimes over high speed internet vpn) instead of WWW - why whould you want to use www???

    it supports remote files (ftp) i wish it had native ssh file transfer!
    unfortunatly only available for windows.. but since work really only uses windows for workstations, it is ok.. if crimson was available unders linux i would definitly think about switching...

    Squid Proxy server lets you have custom error messages.. just change it, with a link to search engine or page of choice

    Artical says that d/l would not contribute to broadband limits (as long as you are with Tel$tra BigPONG - then again unless you are with telstra you could not use the service, as they cannot bill you though your BigPONG account!) just another monopoly wiping out the little guy
