Oh, come on! You think a competition like this can lead us to discredit the whole nation's status? This is simply a minor competition with only 3 people from each school making a showing. Regardless, at least my own Duke finished as the top US school.
Graphics cards are so expensive these days when they are first released, and I can't imagine this every becoming very profitable or worthwhile if they are only going after a very small niche market. Maybe by having us do all of the work for them, they won't see any labor costs...whatever, as much as I hate to be negative about this, I don't see it getting past vapor.
Say, isnt that only in version 0.1? Well, if my mail client can survive a drop from an altitude of 10,000ft, I'll sure be using it for a long time. Oh...my mistake, I saw Thunderbird and mistaked it for Mozilla's up and coming mail client. So these guys didnt do the mail client deal, they are the ones with that speedy heate...er..processor, right? Right?... (So THATS why they call the processor a Space Heater, because these guys made it)
I was astounded by the fact that the newspaper's picture has details about the robot. The picture describes the robot as having a water PUMP that brings water to the robot. It's ingenious. Finally, a method by which we can transfer water. I mean I would have thought that maybe a Cadre of Trained Monkeys would have brought water little by little to the robot, but NO, a pump has now replaced their job. Its pure genius. Finally, a newspaper that publishes that facts that we want to know about and NEED to know about. I'm subscribing to this one!
One must also mention that one of the main reasons why HL is such a great game is its nice modibility and Valves open policy / support of mods (great marketing!!) So give HL and Valve a lot of obvious praise for allowing CS to become what it has become.
Somebody ought to make an sql database called Mozilla. That will ignite the situation. Or better, the Firebird SQL Database project should rename to Mozilla. *sarcasm*
Forget this guy's server being slashdotted, I am having major problems surfing around Slashdot itself *gasp* Anybody else having similar problems (internal server errors appear)? Sorry about being a bit off topic, but its worrying me. It seems to be ok for right now, but it also happened yesterday...I couldnt access the main page.
Woah, neat! That store is just down the road from my school down here in Orlando. I have been there several times and you just walk in and see circuit boards and electrical components everywhere. Things are very cheap and they have pretty much anything. If you really want something from them, I think you can buy stuff through their website. Good luck fellow techies!
Wait....Now those IT people should be saying:
on
Server In A Fly
·
· Score: 0
"There is a server in my bug!" not "There is a bug in my server!"
I thought we were talking about the Boy Scouts of America, and somehow I thought/. would be the last place to hear about them. Plus, the headline didnt really make sense with the Boy Scouts of America. Anybody else misread this? These headlines need to be clearer.:)
hrmmm... these reply posts above look like they are from the same guy that wrote the parent. They are withing 2 minutes of each other and all anon cow.
Ah another Orlandoan...whatever. It is nice during the winter, but it seems like we are drifting off topic. I enjoyed reading about a neat setup in Largo. Great job spending those tax dollars wisely! (not sarcasm)
Do their "CGI" with a linux cluster? I dont think we are talking about web interfaces here. You must mean CG. Just messin' around. BTW, I have noticed a lot of companies using Linux clusters, it must have something to do with the fact that Linux is the best OS.
I dont see how this really stops anything. Those techs can still get another account and just help people without really mentioning that they work for "Foobar" company.
One...The Library of Congress will always hold One Library of Congress amount of information.

Or Kwanta...in hopes to be more open to those of other cultures (as in Kwanza).
In the words of our friend Krusty the Klown: "Have a Merry Christmas...and a Krazy Kwanza"

Yeah, you are really correct. It doesnt seem like you could get all three, but any two does seem to fit well. Heh, nice idea. :)

Hmm, this repost is within a few days. C'mon now. Its a neat story (those scoundrels), but I am pretty sure this is an exact repost.
Wow, I actually saw an article with only one post...second post, w00t. Oh, and those beautiful people, what is it about them.
I thought it said "Gaming Godess." Dang, it got my hopes up.
