I miss pre-Trammel UO and I wasn't a killer. However, I also lived in Upstate NY at the time, in Time Warner's first area to test Road Runner (or one of the first). So everyone else was on dial-up while I was on Cable, and latency made a HUGE difference in UO. So, the only reason I'm able to miss it, is because I had a very unfair advantage that made me almost unkillable to PKers.
So yeah, the only reason I liked UO as much as I did, is because I could laugh at the killers seeming ineptitude.
In all fairness, the reactors aren't really so much on a smaller scale than they are based on a completely different set of design parameters. I can't go into detail, but think about this, a modern naval core will last well in excess of a decade without requiring any refueling. The same is not true of a commercial power plant.
It's not like my life's a secret, a simple google search will tell you what games I play, my website, where I work and more. I had the option of posting anonymously, if I wanted to shill, I would have. I had a training link for SharePoint handy, so I threw it out there.
It was the only training class I knew about. *shrugs* Google another one. My point is the same, if you glance at a program, decide not to bother figuring out how to use it and determine that it sucks only because it's put out by Microsoft then you don't have much of an opinion.
There is nothing wrong with SharePoint. It has a reasonable learning curve, you just have to invest a little bit of time into actually learning how to productively use it.
FWIW... In my experience SharePoint is a flexible, feature-rich, capable tool. I was skeptical at first, mostly because I just didn't feel like learning it. But as a Project Manager I haven't found a better tool to replace the services you get from SharePoint.
If you're stuck with it because your company bought it and expects you to use it, then my honest advice is to, man-up, take a training course and learn to use it.
I am probably missing something obvious here or misunderstanding the question, however, I am very happy with the search integrated in Windows 7. I have about a terabyte of data across two different volumes, and when I use the regular Windows 7 search I get instant, detailed results.
I am running a 1st edition game for my group again. I own the hardcovers, but I bought the PDFs so I'd have a handy reference to kill some time at work with, without pulling out the DMG in my office, which could be...awkward.
I bought my PDFs legitimately through Paizo. But you can guarantee this, any future PDFs I need, I'll gladly download elsewhere, without paying money for them. And I'm not going to feel even slightly guilty about it.
Considering that still, several months later, the State of Minnesota is recounting paper Senate ballots over and over, is this REALLY that bad of an option?
I have always valued entertainment at $4/hr, based on the cost of movies @ 2 hours. So, when I picked up Ultima Online for $50.00, and hated it. I insisted on playing it until I had 10 hours worth of actual entertainment.
I think that took me about a year of hardcore play.;)
I stopped playing WOW about a year ago. It was the same thing over and over. Push number, wait for bar to fill, push another number, wait for bar, then loot. Rebuff, and start again.
To me, this expansion means nothing. I would be curious to hear if this expansion will cause any players that have left to actually rejoin.
So instead, for entertainment, you read news about WoW and discuss it online. I might have to try that when the server's down or I'm at work...oh wait.
I worked for Dell Tech Support and wrote some of their Support Documentation, working closely with their Policy team. I can guarantee that any technician working for Dell who refuses Hardware support because of a change to the OS, will be hammered by his Coaches, Mentors, Managers.
Now, Dell isn't going to help you with Linux related issues. But hardware, they will absolutely help with. And if replacement of the part is the only option because the software changes that have been made limit troubleshooting, then parts are being replaced.
Oh, I'm sure everyone here on/. will love this answer...but, the second Intel "announces" these as available, they will be on sale through Dell's website.
They are what makes me hate Macs. I think I would honestly give them a try if I didn't have to hear fanboys professing the godliness of all things Mac on a daily basis.
A second article mentioned battery life at 2.5 hours. Which is not too bad for a gaming system. Of course, if you're playing WoW, recording 24 with your TV tuner and burning a CD...I'd expect that 2.5 hours to become more like 90 minutes. But hey, that's what AC power is for. If you want long battery life and ultra-mobility, there are better systems.
Those are the two things that keep Apple from claiming significant market share. Businesses don't want to lay out the cost if they can avoid it and PCs are just cheaper. The guys that make the decisions don't see the pro's and con's for what they are, they skip to the price tag and stop looking.
As for games...computer games are a multi-billion dollar industry, bigger than Hollywood in some regards. Until Apple supports initial launch of 90% of computer games, there is going to be a LARGE contingent of computer owners who will never buy one.
Reality sucks, eh?
Is there a market for family friendly pr0n?

By family friendly, I don't mean incest!! So just stop it.
Seriously though, some people have made good points about the graphic, degrading nature of porn today...Would there be a market then for explicit, hard core pornography, that was also instructional and did not promote degradation or extremism. It might also feature people who look real instead of people who obviously look like porn stars.
Just a thought...course, now that I say that, it's probably already out there.
Actually, if they kept much of their current game play, but introduced alternate timelines...such as 500 years before Phantom Menace, during the reign of the Old Republic...or even back 1000 years to Knights of the Old Republic. Then I would consider playing.
As it is, all those Jedi running around during the New Hope - Empire Strikes Back timeline just bugs the crap out of me.
I can identify everyone on my team who abuses "l337" speak and fire them. I honestly think my team would be better off without anyone who chooses to type in a juvenile manner just for a misguided perception of being cool.

In his defense, he was working for the Army at the time. :)
I don't work in sales. I get no commission.

How big is it? I could care less what it looks like without knowing if it's the size of a dime, a dinner plate or a small dog.
WWRXSD?

"Get Some" which Apple execs were rumored to have yelled at rival Palm execs while squeezing their junk.

Further proof that a true genius easily makes more than one point with a witty remark.
...they should have bought the upgrade to On Star(tm).
