Because the President is not as interested in the rule of law as he is in democracy and social justice. Being a nation of laws results in an inherently conservative government that moves slowly and deliberately, while mob rule and a sense of "fairness" derived from a policy of social justice results in summary decisions from the ruling party.

Go educate yourself. A fetus isn't conscious. It has no feelings. It can't care about an abortion. That's been scientifically proven.

No, it hasn't. I can't make it any plainer. This is a load of unscientific crap. We're not sure whether it has any "feelings". I'm not sure whether you mean emotions or sensation, but either way we should feel free to euthanize a lot of people with brain injuries.

Please stop with the partisan crap. Being Republican has little to do with it. Ohio is a swing state. They voted for Obama, have a Democratic senator, and have several Democratic reps in the House-- most notable Kuchinich, arguably the most left-wing. They have a Republican governor, but I don't know what the makeup of their legislature is so I can't comment. I think I've already presented enough evidence that they're not a "Republican stronghold"... they are too authoritarian, which is a left-wing problem.

Bwahahaha. My company once had that to a great extent, but strangely, the more they integrate our various divisions, the LESS integrated our information systems become. I have at least six different systems to which I authenticate, and none are synchronized. They haven't even bothered to be consistent with the username on some of them. It's a real disrespect to security and our productivity.

She had the nerve to claim in the article that it's the driver's burden to prove he's not a criminal. We know that driving is not a right, but people DO have rights to liberty and property, and arbitrary removal of people's vital privileges without a hearing affects both of these. What if they decide to start revoking licenses because your name's spelling is similar to someone else's? How about if they find some data that claims people with brown eyes are likely to be terrorists? Haughty bureaucrats like these need to be educated.

10Mbit is still faster than my internet connection. I wouldn't complain, but it seems every streaming site assumes I have at least 5 Mbit and I only have about 1.5. It's amusing to me, because we still have problems with broadband penetration in many parts of the USA and 1.5Mbit is equivalent to the standard T1 speed that many small to medium businesses still use for their WANs.
