I'm not sure why meat eating has to be passive or thoughtless. I could be just as passive and thoughtless about buying vegetables and fruit, and just get peas, potatoes, and bananas all the time. I don't: I get brussels sprouts, spinach, pomegranates, and kiwi fruit. Likewise, there are many different kinds of animals suitable for human consumption, and many ways of butchering them. Once could eat only wild game if one was turned off by the idea of factory farmed, "boring" meat. Deer, moose, elk, and all kinds of wild-caught fish are available. Obviously, you can season these as you wish. I hope I've done enough to point out the absurdity of your straw-man argument and the elitist attitude that spawned it-- because you're really against passive eating in general.
It has been illegal to feed animal parts to cows in the USA for many years. It is other countries that allow this, and that is why they have great problems with Mad Cow disease. The only case of this disease ever found in the USA was in a single cow that had been imported (live) from Canada.
And pointing at factory farming when the discussion is about meat in general is a straw man argument. Try arguing against Ted Nugent taking down wild game with a bow.
Obviously, he meant the "fighter" part. The answer would have to be something like "pride" or "ego"-- AF pilots prefer the aggression of a craft with AA capabilities like an F-15, although the really twisted ones like hitting ground targets in a more personal fashion with the A-10.
If they want to make this into a nationalist cause celebre then somebody should remind them that there's a lot more history behind Chinese relations with the West then just the unequal treaties and not all of that history is the West "oppressing" China.
They will need a reminder, considering that all record of positive intervention by the West has probably been purged from their history books by their Ministry of Culture.
I'm pretty sure that items 3 and 4 are mutually exclusive; therefore, at least one of them could be met. Also, the moon soil does contain nutrients. So there are at least two.
If bombing civilians makes an organization terrorist, then any government which has engaged in mass aerial bombardment or artillery strikes is a terrorist.
No, it's not, unless it purposely strikes a known civilian target.
Of all the things you listed, the one I would have actually dreamed of happening would be Quicktime being knifed. That thing is Real Player Lite... or frankly, not so lite.
A lot of what libertarians say makes sense (I for one am a big advocate of use taxes), but I can never get past their apparent insistence on the idea that they lack any kind of moral responsibility to their fellow human beings
I doubt you'll find many libertarians who will argue against charitable work and compassion-- they just don't think it should be legislated. Government "charity" is spiritually empty at best, and oppressive at worst.
I'm pretty sure we're all smart enough to not equate unfertilized eggs with fertilized ones. Even vegans don't do that-- they just don't like to exploit the chickens.
Seriously though, before the fetus would be viable outside of the womb it is essentially a parasite if not a medical condition of the mother. It's about as alive as that bacterial infection you take antibiotics for.
Tell that to a woman who miscarried. Even better, tell that to the potential father and see what kind of injuries you have when you wake up in the hospital.
What really irks me the most is that the political party waving the flag of "small government" is the one most willing to get involved in the private lives of ordinary citizens
It's not that simple, because public funds are being used. This is the same reason that people who claim "Dubya outlawed fetal stem cell research" are wrong, because he only ordered that federal funds not be used to create new lines.

... after 56 years, the B-52s keep flying. No, I don't mean the band, although I do like the idea of roaming if I so desire.

"pooned"

Huh huh... you said "wang".
It's a shame I wasted my mod points on the trolls.
Once I egged someone's house on Halloween and killed four people. Another time, I farted at a family reunion and, well, I'm an orphan now.
Try reading articles before you cite them, mmkay?
He "misspoke" the word EIGHT in CAPS.
To be fair, this could just be because Gillette and Schick make high quality blades.
Unless you're a vegetarian, criticizing those who hunt for food is an untenable position.
None of those items you mentioned are in any way inherent to the design of Exchange.
I believe the limit for both 2000 and 2003 is 16 GB. Besides, SP2 added the ability to resize it up to 75 GB for no additional charge.
There may not be any compulsion in your religion, but there certainly is enslavement, taxation, and oppression.
Sounds like we're not buying a "license" to listen anymore. That's rather intangible, and more like a service.
You only need to 25 to be a state representative and 30 to be a senator. It has always been this way.
