    Isn't there anything in the law to penalize frivolous claims of ownership as harassment? Copyright does not need to be defended as voraciously as trademark, so there is no need for them to keep pumping the entire Youtube side through algorithms and blindly send takedown notices.

    Even if there were, well-- you'll have to hire employees to vet the hits. That's the cost of doing business.

    Can we get the state colleges to stop operating with government hand-outs, too? Penn State has both the highest tuition, and the biggest budget, of any state school. They are a drain on Pennsylvania taxpayers.

    It does matter if you are under a standard like PCI DSS. Even internally, PANs must only be transmitted over an encrypted connection, and systems where the PAN is stored must be administered with encrypted connections.

    There is a dialog box in the preview. However, at least on my system, it pops up about once every 5 minutes to let me know that my reboot is scheduled 18 hours from now.

    It's virtually impossible for a private citizen to have a select fire weapon. That's the biggest issue.

    If a militia could not keep the government in check, it's only because the oppressive government has made it a self-fulfilling prophecy. I assure you, if there were no restrictions on military weapons, everyone would have them. In the 18th century, private citizens had cannon. Where do you think the militia got them from?

    Your people are under constant surveillance, have no property rights, can have your speech silenced at any moment by a mere stroke of the pen, and you meekly accept all this.     The second amendment appears to defend exactly that-- military weapons. The Supreme Court has come to that same conclusion in two separate decisions. The second amendment isn't for hunters or plinkers.

    BTW, the bad guy had a HANDGUN. Like the landlord said, they could have evacuated the surrounding homes, fired tear gas, and crashed in. Destroying the entire house is cowardly and reckless.

    Plenty, but not most. And you're focusing on high-profile mass shootings. Meanwhile, young black men are killed one by one every day in our cities and no one bats an eye.

    A credit union isn't a bank. They are regulated, and deposits are insured, by the NCUA. My company is well aware of the fact that the NCUA regularly audits our clients, so I assure you that such a debacle will not go unnoticed. If you haven't received redress for this incident, you should pursue it.

    The taxes weren't "too low". There were something like 20 people paying for 1 person, early on. Should they maybe have been a little higher to pump up the "trust fund" for the future? Yes, but the progressives knew this wouldn't fly. They needed to make sure most Americans were behind it, so they had to keep the tax low and make big promises.

    Especially when she's not a good one. She has instituted employee-hostile policies (killing remote workers), then feigned compassion by throwing back a bone (maternity leave extension). Like most CEOs, she implements bad policies and her response is, "everyone else is doing it", which is the opposite of leadership.

    There must be a better female CEO out there.
