When I went to use my invite, Google asked me for my birthdate, just one of those most imporant piecies of info for idenitity theft, I put in a fake one a usual only this time I made the mistake of making myself too young. Google then disabled my account AND my gmail account until I gave them 30 cents from my credit cart to prove I was old enough!!!!! So that led me to getting all of my email off of google via POP and saying fuck you goodbye.

So true. Recently on the news I have seen family members of murders say things like, "but he was a really good boy" Ignorance of the past just leaves us open to those of us who have the strongest tendencies to dominate, exploit, and murder.

Nah Nah Na Nah Na, MY layer is more important than your layer... They uh, call them layers because each has its role. If you blame the app for badly written queries or the other way around, then you are not one step forward. And there should be at LEAST three, app, procedure, query.. The more complex the system, the less likely your one layer approach will make it..

Wish I had mod points as most of these people don't seem to get how really broken "Linux" is. Gee, where have we heard this before, the super powerful enterprise OS that anyone can use? No lessons learned, none at all. What a massive waste of time, diverting so much talent into treadmill coding and pleasing the dumb ass user who wants to look like a geek but is afraid to compile a stupid kernel, gee like come on that was the first thing I learned to do.

  18. Math focus - Physics and Logic on How Much Math Do We Really Need? · · Score: 1

I do wish that there was a course for Math that started with Physics instead of starting with number theory which is really what most math is connected to and then after that Algebra is taught as an abstract set of rules and tricks, rather than a set of powerful tools for logic and problem solving. Get rid of exercises in favor of nothing but "word problems" That will make the classes a lot more worth while. Calculus in physics is so easy and so cool, but lots of times you don't get to see that until you have reached collage physics which is just stupid. With those modes of thinking in place, nothing is out of reach.
