Just consider the term "Illegal Music". How can you defend that? Would Dali or Picasso ever want to prevent you from viewing thier works? Would Chopin or Beethoven charge you an arm and leg to listen?
I know you mean well, but have you ever had that much time to yourself? Sure, you'll start off working on that conf-file-gui app you wanted to write, but after a while, your intrest will fade and you'll find yourself going to the doctor, asking for more percoset and the like.
You'll become a bit [more] reclusive, and slightly messier. Your friends won't want to come over any more because they say you're 'acting weird', and your xanax just isn't cutting it any longer.
Do you really want to spend your life like this? Of course you don't. So quit being a baby and just die.
Not that I disagree with you, but garageband doesn't have context menus (or I haven't found them). Please describe where a context menu lies in garageband.
How was he bashing windows? He's simply pointing out possible reasons why the drivers don't work on XP 64. BTW, as another poster pointed out it's because the drivers need to be recompiled for the 64-bit platform.
Does Torvald's piss actually cure cancer? I might have more incentive to believe you if you weren't so eager to jump down people's throats over what you percieve to be "windows bashing".
Certainly there is nothing wrong with doing all that on Linux, and like you I do it everyday also. I'm just saying that should not have to be the primary focus of Linux. You don't hear most users complaining about Linux as a server, embedded, or specialized OS, just about user-friendliness, getting grandma to use it, and so on. Give granny a mac. Give your corporation Linux.
It would be nice if Linux were as easy to use as os x, and it would be super if companies recognized Linux for drivers, apps, and games, but when we develop for and evolve Linux, we should lend first thought to stability, not how the non technical population is going to react.
Why is everyone so up-in-arms over this issue? You wouldn't (hopefully!) use a drill in place of a screwdriver would you? When you want a functional, stable piece of computer equipment to handle your small business / personal mission-critical tasks, run a stable OS (BSD, Linux, etc). When you want to browse email, watch DVDs, etc, crack open your POS win XP or ultra-sleek OS X powerbook (a bit of bias, yes). What's the problem? Why must linux emulate the behaviour of these other OSs'? To get more wide-spread adoption? Why is that useful?
ha! nobody cares. everybody just wants to bitch and moan!

We are products of brainwashing.
I can attest to gay dogs. I have personally witnessed a male dog trying to fuck another male dog.
Maybe you should upgrade from NN4.
nor do we deserve you seeping the humor out of our lives
Mod this one offtopic.
Stop it! Firefox and GNU/Linux have nothing to do with each other. Jerk!
Doesn't everyone who scratches thier ass smell thier finger afterwards? I don't think it's that odd of a thing to do.
As for public nose-picking, that's all fine and well (I do it myself), but eating the booger? That's just gross (or possibly shock value).

Actually I find when I'm on drugs I prefer the command line. Gives me that futuristic creepy feeling.
A very cromulent post!
You didn't write the xml declaration header, YOU BASTARD!
You scare me.
I've been searching the comments for someone who's said this. Bravo.
I really enjoyed your timecube site. Can you please enlighten us some more?
Would you want to eat those turkeys? Besides, they're already doing this. Where do you think ramen noodles come from?
Small? I thought they were a decent size. Agree with the rest. I'd like to see them go after the phishers.

I have reported this incident to the federal authorities. Expect a knock at your door.
