    1. If you plan on visiting or staying for some period of time, try to avoid bringing any computers or electronic devices with you.

    I had lot's of electronical equipment with me, no probs (this was only some days ago). MP3-player, mobile phone, gps and laptop.

    2. While the "Great Firewall of China" might be a nuisance to you, it will be very difficult to avoid.

    No, in the hotels it works totally fine.

    Yeah, because you can't take pictures of kids with a regular camera...

    The problem is that more and more people will have access to a camera _all_ the time. Most people do not happen to have an ordinary camera in their pocket but a camera enabled cellphone is another matter. And I think much of these intimate photography is made on impulse.

    More info about Corpus Callosotomy. I am kind of surprised that this is a thing that actually helps some people and that they can go back to their normal lifes. What exactly is the corpus callosum used for ? I didn't think the brain halfes was that independent of each other that they still could function without communication.

    A good book about the environmental problems is Earth Odyssey by Mark Hertsgaard. Good section about China and the problems there.

    The intention of a bullet is to damage something, that is not the case with a keyboard. Or the other things mentioned. I would blame Wallmart, but not Ozzy. Ozzy rules and Wallmart sucks :)
