More iPod units out, but possibly less iPod brand recognition? It says it's similar, but I'm curious how the iPod and hpPod differ. I guess it's good for Apple, as hpPod users will probably use the iTMS.
I did RTFA, and I agree with parent poster. Because test subjects linked punishment of others with reward does not mean that we are wired this way. I hate to go here, but look at the extreme cases--Charles Manson, the Unibomber, George W (ok, that was below the belt... retract him). They obviously have their reward centered tingled by things that no normal human would do.
Maybe LucasArts will team up with Peter Jackson and release aforementioned version of the Star Wars Trilogy with the LOTR Trilogy Super-Mega-Hardcore Fan Edition with such amazing features as...
Over two hours of Orlando Bloom staring at the camera!
Commentary by everyone, however remotely involved. Even the Camera Operator #3 gets his 10 hours of drivel heard.
Concept art scrawled on toilet paper while in the jon.
I don't think this patent is for a tablet or handheld device. As the article states, Apple's iPod already is a great information carrier. However, this patent with, along with Apple's work with a 'wireless monitor' company may be a portable monitor, which connects to your home PC.
I think it would be cool to be able to carry around a tablet-esque device and pen that allows you to do things with your computer. Maybe there will be universal remote functionality and other new features. Just speculation...
Doom 1, bah. Marathon was far superior to Doom in many ways. And if you think id Software is treasonous for having their game ported to X-Box, imagine how us Mac people felt when we awoke one morning, and heard that Bungie, a long-time Mac developer, had been bought by Microsoft.
Aside from the GameCube, you could easily build a rather nice PC with the appropriate emulators. Heck, even an X-Box would do the job. There are nearly flawless emulators for the NES, SNES, GB, GBA, and N64. The end result would be much cleaner, and a properly configured game controller setup would make it feel like the real thing.

You don't use WD-40 on bicycles. Or at least you shouldn't.

Continental 19mm track tires. Not the best choice for a paved TTT.

F'iz:ik makes excellent saddles. Both the Arione and Aliante are used by many teams in the peloton.

Personally, I wouldn't mind any one of these.
Those are some nice pieces of electronics, regardless of amplifier type.
Hell, if you use Windows for long enough, it'll turn your hair gray regardless of how many users there are in your group.
