Or in more detail (this guy obvisously needs it like this):
In the lower left hand of your screen, you should see a button labled "Start" click it with your left mouse button, unless you are left handed, try the right mouse button. Now, point to settings, then click "Control Panel". Then double click the administrator tools icon. goto "services". Now, there will be a service listed as "Messenger Service" Right click this (if you are left handed, left click), and click properties. Then choose the automatic box, and change it to disabled. Click Apply, then OK, and reboot your computer and show me your boobies (or your girlfriends boobies if you are a man).
Bart: Dad, isn't mom going to be mad about us ruing her car? Homer: If she didn't want me to ruin her car, she shouldn't have left her keys laying around the house.
I actually did a bunch of durability tests on my iPod as far as dinking it with software and all that other stuff. It still works just fine and I've never had a problem with it.
Get EphPod software though, NEVER EVER INSTALL MUSIC MATCH FOR THE LIFE OF YOU!!!
My address book file corrupted when I changed from english to japanese, now when I changed back to english, when I point over it, I get three japanese characters and then when i try to open it, it just doesn't do anything. the icon on it changed to a peice of paper and the big applications A thing. I was hoping the 10.2.5 update would fix this, but no go. Any ideas on how I can restore the address book?
The prono looks as if it can be a TV with it's colour LCD/etc. So now I can watch TV on my remote and use the TV as a remote I suppose, I wonder if the pronto can run Linux too! I have a funny story about one of the fancy remotes, I was staying at a guys house, and he had a remote like that, when you pressed "Watch TV" A screen would come from the ceiling and then the TV would start up (external projection). I then pointed it away from it, said turn off TV, it thought the TV was off, and then when he came back to use the TV, he went to turn it on even though it was off, so the screen went up and the TV stayed on, so it burrered up. I watched him fiddle with it, showed him what I did, and just had to point it away from the TV and press "watch tv" again to make it think the TV was on before it would work right again........ You had to be there I guess.
I have been screaming and cursing all day, and my programming doesn't seem to be any better really, but my throat is clear from my sinuses from all the yelling.
A good example of this was when I was at a friends house on his linux box, and I asked him what his browser was, I immediatly searched for anything that had a world in it, since that is most commonly for web browsers. I had to point over all of them because in Gnome they were all just weird blobs, when I'm at home, I have to point out Mozilla to people because they don't know what the little dragon thing is.
I remember my friend had an old powerbook with a battery near death, and he booted it up, saw the sad mac, and just said, "What the fuck!" it was hillarious, his dad was like, "aww, it's the sad mac!"
Biologists like to think they are chemists. Chemists like to think they are physicists. Physicists like to think they are mathematicians. And mathematicians like to think they are god.

But that PowerBook G4 wasworking. And I bet that if it was one of the new 12" or 17" the keyboard would probably kept working because I think their keys are alluminum just like the laptop is too (I think, havn't used one in real life). I'm sure the 15 inch ones will get keys ike that next revision too.
Maybe apple could make an airport deluxe that will integrate these things, I know the newer powerbooks have bluetooth built in, but it would be nice for people like me who don't have bluetooth included on their powerbook.
Toastytech.com has had all these (except Windows server 2003) all organised for a long time now, I think they might even be the same snapshots, maybe they are copied. Either way, the thing I'd like to point out is he keeps recognising all the web intergration throughout the year. Now even the enterprise servers are web intergrated. I knew this would happen, and it is going to make things even slower. It is nice that they put the ability to disable filesharing/etc right there for the people too stupid to secure a win2k server I guess, but the days of Microsoft prevailing are numbered, just like IBM with os/360 and cobal were. I just wokeup at 2 am with a nightmare, so don't be a grammer nazi either.
My 867 Mhz's PowerBook is pretty good when it comes to not scolding me to death. The best way to keep it cool is by not having it plugged in all the time, since it gets hotter when it is charging (the AC adapter is hotter while charging too) and it also gets hotter the greater the CPU usage, so keeping cpu trottling on is good too. I noticed my laptop seemed to get hotter the more Quake 3 Arena I played on it.

The question I heard from yesterdays story was "What colour will the new music note be?" But we all know now, it's green!

Zombo is just made to make fun of Xombo Internetworks.
And this one

I'm already filling up my 10gb and I wish I had poped another $100.00 :(

no, he means what is it, so you should have said, "A ripoff of Star Trek and CowBoyBebop on FOX"

or this article "PowerBook, Because Lives Are On The Line". He decided to use a PowerBook over a Toshiba ToughBook because it was tough and what not.
This was accomplised by Afrotech with an optical mouse ... here. I want to see it implemented by apple, I also want to see OS X.3 "Pather" at macworld.
I said the exact same thing here. But the comment is gone now and it is rated as a -1, Troll. It seems slashdot has taken on the idea of censorship? Alot of people saw it and it stirred up alot of controversy, and it's gone now. I suppose this will be modded down if true, or modded up if someone wants todo somthing about it.
