    Exactly. I have: Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/hda1 15799896 5888360 9911536 38% / tmpfs 514268 12 514256 1% /dev/shm /dev/hda2 46014948 6186204 37491288 15% /home /dev/hdb1 75984864 45851840 30133024 61% /mnt/fat32 The fat32 section is leftover from my Windows days, but now it just has movies, mp3s, etc on it. The owner is Fat or something and whoever I want to have access to the media gets it. At some point I'm change it over to ext3 or ResierFS. All personal files are kept in /home, obviously, which is on a seperate partition as well.

    Its definately about religion. The scouts are based on Christian values, and those values say that homosexuality is bad. In order to be a scout you have to be accepting of god and be morally (and in turn sexually) straight. They have certain values that they obide by and they should be able to protect those values. They are a private group. I figure that if you don't agree with the values of the organization, too bad -- don't join or be involved in any way. I was a scout, and I have gay friends. I can see both sides, but I think both sides should be entitled to their own points of view.

    I actually went ahead and paid for the OS. The reason was three fold. 1. I've been running Suse 9.1 and really like it, but it takes forever to do the FTP install. 2. It comes with excellent documentation on pretty much everything. I haven't been using Linux for very long (a couple months) so its nice to have a guide specific to the system (yes, there is the Internet, but its not the fastest. 3. If Suse doesn't make any money they won't make newer distros.

    I think our Cairn Terrier had that beat. While my parents would get us ready for bed at night they would trough a tennis ball down the stairs and the dog would run down to fetch it and bring it back up. She could do this for 1 - 1.5 hours at a time.

    What if they could wortk together with other standards groups and implement a new meta tag for html? Something along the lines of

    <meta name = "adult" content = "teens, etc.">

    and it if no tag is found then it isn't an adult site. This would provide a transparent way for sites to label themselves as adult content. Filtering software could easily search for the tag, and if found would prevent the page from being downloaded.
