My friend stole a purse, and had an ATM card, I called the lady pretending to be bank of america, saying her card was stolen.. "OhMyGod my purse was stolen"
To all the people whining about it being on slashdot, the link is to a site with ALL of the afoe mentioned sites..
Although, this 'contest' isn't really a contest... It would have been better to do it in a controlled manner, let the sites spread by word of mouth et cetera.
All MythTV really needed was a well-funded and backed listing system. Zap2it was a good mid-point, but not on par with Tivo's or Microsoft's offerings.
Old (but very decent) PC hardware is getting cheaper and cheaper... (save for older ram.. but ddr is getting old too) So, for the enthusiast, MythTV just became a lot better..
If the price is right, this could definitely work out.
I've always loved you, sometimes a bit too much. When all the others told me you were bad, I didn't listen. I followed you blindly. Google, everything you have done until now has been the upmost joy of my life.

It is official; Netcraft confirms: Debian is dying
One more crippling bombshell hit the already beleaguered Debian community when IDC confirmed that Debian market share has dropped yet again, now down to less than a fraction of 1 percent of all servers. Coming on the heels of a recent Netcraft survey which plainly states that Debian has lost more market share, this news serves to reinforce what we've known all along. Debian is collapsing in complete disarray, as fittingly exemplified by failing dead last [samag.com] in the recent Sys Admin comprehensive networking test.
You don't need to be a Kreskin [amdest.com] to predict Debian's future. The hand writing is on the wall: Debian faces a bleak future. In fact there won't be any future at all for Debian because Debian is dying. Things are looking very bad for Debian. As many of us are already aware, Debian continues to lose market share. Red ink flows like a river of blood.
Debian is the most endangered of them all, having lost 93% of its core developers. The sudden and unpleasant departures of long time Debian developer Manoj Srivastava only serve to underscore the point more clearly. There can no longer be any doubt: Debian is dying.
All major surveys show that Debian has steadily declined in market share. Debian is very sick and its long term survival prospects are very dim. If Debian is to survive at all it will be among OS dilettante dabblers. Debian continues to decay. Nothing short of a miracle could save it at this point in time. For all practical purposes, Debian is dead.
With the price you'd pay for that thing, why not get a decent gaming laptop? That's what me and most of my friends use for lans now.. have the 802.11 ready, a good mouse... it's fun

It's preinstalled on a good percentage of home user's operation system.
If Firefox can keep its usability/functionality/security edge over IE, I think that the numbers could keep falling.
The way firefox spreads (world of mouth, mainly) can only become more powerful the more people use it.... if it can maintain its edge.

He has ripped wikipedia, added adsense, and I belive this is downright WRONG. His website is obviously a ploy at profit garnering...
Please, tell me if there's anything you can do about assholes like this.. really chaps my ass
What kind of fucking jerk are you? Taking Wikipedia's article, making a new domain, and adding adsense for a word which garners $50 a click, yeah
Take advantage of hurting people some more, you fucking jerk
Lots of rumor of DNS getting poison and/or google site getting hacked. The reason benig is people thought google.com was going to SoGoSearch.com..
But apparently it was just their browser's not finding google.com and trying to go to Google.com.net
Stop flipping out!

Funny story about IPreplays-
A few years ago in IRC we used to do some pretty sick prank calls using IPreplays, along with generally having fun at the relay operators expense.
One time we got this relay operator to finally break her 'recorder persona'
I think one of the guys got her phone number and met her leading up to sexx0r if i remember correctly
Good: 1
Evil: 42
All the hits are way too random to be just one person, it can't be one guy's ref link..
I visited a lot of the sites, a good majority of them (almost all) are forums and someone is recommending a book every time... it's really fishy
I just can't figure it out
!!!!
oh NO now all the hoards of people who go to apples stores to buy books won't be able to purchase it with his new $400 toy
