    I play WoW... I have a 60 priest and I'm currently working on my rogue (level 55)

    If anyone can explain to me how to effectively play WoW (Espically the priest!) With a controller, you are teh WINNAR

    Even with my easymode rogue... PvP is still Hotbutton for cheapshot, hotbutton for sinister strike x 2, hot button for kidney shot, hot button for gouge.. .etc etc

    I would LoL @ all teh auto-attackers

    I'm not trying to be condesending, but I didn't argue simply because I didn't NEED to.

    The internet has claws in everything from major financial situations to education to national defense.

    I'm not saying a world without the internet is possible, as history proves that to us. More or less what I am trying to say is.. the internet is like a drug which creates a physical dependence. Adjusting to the world without the internet (now) would be akin to quitting heroin cold turkey. Not impossible, but undeniably hard.

    EasyNews has this neat AutoUNRAR feature that lets you stream rar'ed content (Long videos, TV shows, movies, usually all released to usenet rared up)

    Man, with easynews I have practically quit using P2P for ANYTHING.

    Anything I want is on their fast server.. and with their global search that takes like ~2 seconds, zip manager, and autounrar (useful for streaming tv shows, movies, xvids et cetera) i can't ever see using p2p again :P

    But then again, it isn't 'free', but the $10 a month is well worth it in my eyes

    With a DOS or the more popular Distributed version, it's just a matter of sheer strength.

    The amount of bandwidth these kids can harness to sling around is amazing, have you been on IRC (preferably EFnet) much? Now, with non-inept systems admins, and network guys... DoS attacks can be thwarted somewhat

    But, again, it's sheer power. Some kid has a bunch of obscure boxes rooted all sitting on fat pipes... it can be bad

    His is a genius, as I said. And he puts things in a very eloquent... non-physicist sort of way.

    Actually...

    Have you read anything by Michio Kaku?

    He's a genius.. one of his theories is that all planets with intelligent beings on them can be categorized into a few distinct categories..

    Category 0 = primitive, burn fossil fuels

    Category 1 = Planetary, get energy from planet, can control the weather, usually formed a world government by then

    Category 2 = Move on to using our local star as our source of energy.

    Category 3 = Galactic civilization. Huge, impossible to kill off with 'natural' causes, highly advanced most likely.

    He states that he believes most category 0 civilizations (Which we are) never make it to category 1 because of the rise of U235 and the inevitable invention of the nuclear weapon.

    So, we give the authority to launch a nuclear strike (possibly starting the end of the world) preemptively to the president... no voice from the people, et al.

    I mean, nuclear weapons have worked FINE as a deterrant, but I don't think others are goign to go along with the..

    "Do as we say or we'll nuke you back to the stone age" philosophy

    anti-american sentiment will rise... how does a policy that seems so illogical (Use a nuke... a huge huge huge bomb, to preemtively strike someone) get through?

    They had a very new van (rental looking) full of stuff, I mean full. A dog, cat, looked like everything they had...

    Something tells me they weren't lying. But you can't go around asking for handouts.. have to go through the right channels.. people can't just give away company merchandise like that heh

    I work at a retail store in California, about 40 miles from Sacramento.

    The other night, I had a couple come in, claiming to be from New Orleans, showing me an ID as evidence. They looked pretty poor and in dirty clothes, and the ID was correct.

    They kept barraging me with questions asking for handouts... wanted a $100 tent for free, et cetera et cetera. I gave them the number to the local red cross chapter.

    Has anyone else experienced refugees from the gulf coast in their area? What in the WORLD were they doing here.. no idea heh.

    I can't imagine this contest will last long at all if there's every half as many people as the webserver leads me to believe... took me 10 minutes to load the image!

    I'm sure this will be solved before most of us can make out even a slightest smudge in the image.. not to mention people who have an original from 5~ hours ago, who can just use photoshop to cancel out the noise.
