I have a linked in account and about 70 connections, but I can't imagine how I would actually spend TIME on Linked-in. I get an e-mail a couple of times a week about what is going on. That seems to be sufficient to keep updated on. Of course, I am not trying to keep tabs on friends on linked-in, just seeing what my associates are up to. I already know what my FRIENDS are up to because I talk to them.
Statistically speaking, 93% of those people studied should have been staring at a blank screen when staring at their facebook account, because 93% of the people in the world do not have a facebook account.
Yeah, you need to read the operating specs for your phone. You will probably discover that you are not allowed to use it during at least half of the year in most climates.
He lives in Naperville, Illinois. The average home there is over 329,000 ( and that's after the bubble burst). Most people that live there are not actually all that wealthy, but are definitely pretty well over-extended.
I guess I didn't answer your question.
As a professional computer scientist you need to go to conferences because your employer is giving you an excuse to go on an all expenses jolly and skip off work for a few days.
You are correct. That is why companies don't send the employees to CS conferences. The employees need to work. Instead, they send the managers to the CS conferences, where they have a good time on the company tab, and come back having learned nothing because the conference was geared toward CS professionals, not managers.
We need Paul Harvey to tell us "the rest of the story". This survey tells us a fact which manages to sound scary even though it is not being compared to any other facts, specifically the ones concerning crimes linked to classified ads.
This tactic reminds me of this Dilbert cartoon.
And how many rapes, home invasions, and other crimes can be linked to a printed classified? I am guessing that the percentages are about the same. It is a shame that AIM would not be interested in conducting that survey and their customers, Craigslists's competitors, are not about to fund that survey.
I'm pretty sure that they ARE blocking access to playboy.
And if they are blocking playboy, but not this site, then that is also censorship. And if they allow playboy, but not kiddie porn, that is also censorship. However, they are well within their right to just not provide any public wifi at all, which is probably where this will end up leading.
Remember that there is at most one place (well, one line of places) where the sun is exactly overhead at noon in a particular time zone. Sunset and sunrise times can be noteably different even when traveling in the same time zone. In theory it should only change by up to an hour, but sometimes, the time zones are not exactly one hour (as the sun flies) wide.
What they need to do is encourage their tourists to come from the east. When I went to Hawaii from he continental U.S., I found myself waking up naturally at 6 every morning, and feeling like I had slept in. It was 10 o'clock by my body clock, and I was ready to get up and start doing activities.
I've never been really sure of why we need to make sure that it is light outside so we can go sit in a well-lit temperature controlled environment. Yes, I know that for some people's jobs, sunlight is a necessity, but for the vast majority of the working class, than is not the case. Personally, I would rather have all those daylight hours to do enjoyable things in the outdoors, and let work have the hours that are not as useful for other activitities. Why we have to take the most potentially productive hours of our days and spend them at work baffles me.
Driving with the sun blinding you such that you can not react fast enough can cause an at-fault accident, as it did prior to her showing up, or it could cause a vehicular homicide, as it did when she showed up. She essentially admitted as much. Apparently she thought that the biggest strike against her would have been her facebook page, but in fact, it is the fact that she killed somebody that was the issue, and she could have avoided killing him simply by not driving too fast when she couldn't see.
So she argues that she is innocent of the infraction of vehicular homicide due to inattention and instead admits that she is guilty of the infraction of vehicular homicide due to driving to fast for the conditions. Your honor, I would like to drop the suit, and oh, by the way I have another suit I would like to put forth, one in which the defendant has already admitted guilt.
Well, if you text, update your facebook, drive drunk or otherwise are not fully in control, you are absolutely going to kill someone sometime, so it ought to count as premeditated.
Ironic punishment time. Every one of the victims relatives and friends who desires to do so gets to run over Beas while they update their facebook page.
So all cops are guilty of class B felony several times an hour all day long?

Wait. Some people actually PAY for pornography? I'm pretty sure new free porn comes onto the internet faster than one could view it.
Common law marriage is also voluntary. The state can't tell you you are married and neither can your partner unless you agree.

As far as I can see, the ONLY class that can afford to buy bling is the lower classes.
Does this mean I am not the only one who prints stuff out of firefox and ends up with a document that prints in mini-me mode?

That's okay. In the U.S., we use imperial units, which the U.K. made up and abandoned and now pokes fun at us for using.

She's already admitted to being guilty of vehicular homicide, she just denies how it occurred. How it occurred changes nothing.
You're right, lets just shoot her.

You are correct. Much more likely that she was paying 100% attention to the road and had her hands at 10 and 2 and then just ran the guy over.
Ironic punishment time. Every one of the victims relatives and friends who desires to do so gets to run over Beas while they update their facebook page.
Stop anthropomorphizing people!
Yeah, they hate when you do that.
