Honestly its the FCC, their about as neutered as it comes when talking about enforcing laws. Its very likely in this case the AP DID get it wrong, not that it matters since NO ONE fined by the FCC in the last 3-4 years has even paid theirs anyway.
I firmly believe immunity for ANYONE is too much. The idea that immunity makes whistleblowing more likely is a bunch of bullshit and always has been. You shouldnt need immunity if you did nothing wrong, and you deserve to rot in jail if you did. Its just a question of do you want to be the person rotting or do you want to bring everyone involved down with you.
you know I had this huge story counting most if not all of your claims, but you know what, I just realized it would be falling on deaf ears with you. Being militaristic about OSS is just not helping the cause, and just makes us OSS users look like hippies and activists, and not professionals.
I still find it strange though, since mac designers I know (and I do know a few having come from a newspaper) are usually very smart about their macs specifically because if they go to a big house there tends to be a push and pull match between them and their IT department. Are they older designers? Cause I could understand if they are holding on to the old OS 9 mentality where you DID reinstall everything (and crossed your fingers to boot) but all that went out the window 10 years ago.
why would you reinstall for a corrupted profile? I have gotten one maybe twice and both times was easily repaired. Why would your IT dept even ALLOW that?

Doesnt make it a bad exploit (and one Im particularly POd about as I have to use remote desktop for work) but a normal user would not have to worry too much unless they turned SSH or Remote Desktop on, or someone decided to break into their house.
except every major system out there can use a keyboard with one of them (PS3)capable of using a wireless bluetooth keyboard. My Wii and 360 both use the wireless keyboard I bought for FFXI on the PS2 5 years ago perfectly fine.
no its NOT a choice and is very much a mistake. Drink any coffee from a GOOD roaster who does a dark roast and you will realize how terrible Starbuck is. Starbucks uses rancid beans that are overroasted to cover the fact the oils have gone bad. This is well know by coffee connoisseurs and they will tell you NEVER to think Starbucks makes good coffee.

The battery pack it used was made up of AAs but it was a rechargeable battery pack and NOT set up to take AAs alone like the 100 was. That being said I still think the eMate was the perfect OLPC computer.

No uh oh, Moore is a asshole and its been well documented for years hes a egotistical asshole. His input has been sought for YEARS when it comes to movies of his works and he flat out refuses to help, then trashes what eventually is made under a misplaced idea that by denying his input it wont be made.

I highly doubt that without Frank Millers help, Sin City or 300 would have been half as impressive as they where.

Microsoft backed themselves into a wall where they WILL lose a decent amount of marketshare if they upset the balance of power and do a major revision of everything they sell, but are likely to lose marketshare slowly but surely too if they dont to linux and Apple who make no quarms about dumping out of date and obsolete aspects of their system.
1) If their cables where unplugged in the first place, their IT department is made of fail. There is no reason to NOT have a LAN regardless of your internet need.
2) If their IT was worth the scratch they are getting paid, they pulled the updates needed and applied them without the use of autoupdate.
Granted I fear I just missed the joke, but hey its/. that wouldnt be anything new here.
A quick look at my office and the fact only 4 out of 11 people are at a healthy weight with 1 well over 300 pounds could have told me we are a bunch of fat asses.

2) your deluding yourself if you think any of the Aht Urgahn areas looks like Gustaburg, or the Dunes. IF there is one thing SE got really good at its in making zones look gorgeous, much more than I ever though Blizzard with its cartoony as hell looking areas did.
3)There hasnt been a small number of armor or enemy models in 3 years. And last I looked Colibri look nothing like "bee's" and all of them beyond 30 look different from each other.
4) Quests offer no XP, not entirely true, newer quests do and have been for some time. And all WotG missions give XP rewards.
5)SE has never deleted accounts past the first 2 years. And they always offer to restart your account with everything.
In short dont comment when you dont know a thing your talking about. I could go on how I think WOW is the worst thing to happen to MMOs since its completely dumbed down the game to the masses, but thats a actual opinionated argument. Never did, but there is no need. They just lowered the port level for outposts in those regions, but even at that it was totally unneeded. Of course these days you a idiot if your leveling there in a party as there are so many better and faster solo ways to go.

Not totally true. One of the nicest thing about FFXI's expansions is that on top of a number of hours of more storyline, almost every one of them has added totally new things that where never in the game before
ToAU added instance battles, chocobo breeding and racing, a Pokemon type game to play between players, and city attacks.
WotG added a whole new battlesystem in the past that involves campaigns against enemy armys without the need to be in a massive alliance. This also changed the whole nature of XP grinding as you can easily make a ton of XP without the need of a party. There is a lot more still planned as well.
While yeah there is your normal armor recoloring and new mobs, a GOOD MMO maker knows how to add stuff in without upsetting the balance too much while actually including a ton of new content.
no not exactly, you did understand what I said. Theaters make more money if the movie isnt thought to be good all that good, and people go to see it anyway. A bomb is a bomb for eveyone, those are the ones that barely make it a week. They are looking for films that have legs to stay in the theaters for a bit, but are not super blockbusters that will cost the theaters gobs of money just to show.
This is also the reason why your small town theaters are getting beat up. Only the bigger players can even afford to show your Star Wars and your LotR's for long stretches of time unless the movie players make a deal to "rerelease" the film a few weeks down the line.
