Similar issue with the latest Red Hot Chili Peppers (Greatest Hits) - here in NZ it is a copy protected disc, as I found out with FreeDB not recognising the disc (it recognises the data track and therefore won't register a match in the database). A quick search revealed that the disc was there, in a non copy protected form.
Clearly different releases for different markets.
I was able to pick up the original Gran Turismo soundtrack simply by walking into a store here in New Zealand and looking in the soundtrack section - however, this is a rarity and seems (here at least) tied to the popularity of the game
Games like the Tony Hawk series would be sitters for soundtrack CD's, and they'd make a small fortune off the soundtrack alone, but publishers don't care beyond securing the rights to use it for the game?
Of course, these are games that use "commerical" music so there could of course be issues with conflicting publishers etc...it would be nice, however, to see more titles available.
More Duke3D - walk up to the microphone in the karaoke bar (first mission of the second episode) and press use - the best use of "Born to be Wild" yet!!!
Something similar happened with Deus Ex as well - the designers never thought that anyone would be inventive enough to come up with the idea of attaching limpet mines to vertical walls in order to climb them.
I'll second the Aliens TC. The first level was sheer brilliance, as you ran around triggering nice voice samples from the movie ("watch those corners, watch those corners!"), while fully expecting to see an alien Any Minute Now.
Uber scary.
Ah, one advantage of living in a PAL country - all of our gear comes ready to playback NTSC videos/dvd's etc.
If it's ever released here in NZ, it will most likely support both formats.

The LoTR "War of the Ring" RTS being put together by Liquid is looking very cool - screenshots here
Try this as a possible fix (works for me with 1.9, and I'm on 56k in another country).
1. Download this small file: HERE
2. Backup the original IpDrv.u file located at "C:\Program Files\Army Operations\System"
3. Replace it with the new IpDrv.u file.
4. Now run AA1.9 and try to login.
Of course, this would be more valid if they hadn't pulled Witch's Wake from the official site....
