yup. Just like Trumps, Cruz's, Rubio's, Bush's, etc 'Donations' from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Russia (and yes, Russia VERY much wants another conservative like W in the office; he did NOTHING when RUssia invaded), China, etc.
Really? What opinion has he voiced outside of his sphere? More importantly, who the fuck died and made you god so that you can trample on a man's rights?
Nope. Professional and ameaturs trolling has been going on since F1's first failure. Gaetanomarano has been trolling the site screaming that private space would not only fail, but that NASA should continue to spend more money on building rockets and parts in Europe, esp Italy, along with Russia.
Then we saw several Russians get into the act along with Chinese, all screaming that spacex, and all musk ventures will fail. Now, here on/., we have amightywind, who is actually a troll from ULA. Quite regularly, he will troll here as AC, but it is the same bullshit.
So plenty of pros and amateurs at this on many of the sites.
Seriously, a good place to put these up for testing is on the east side of Lake Michigan. Loads of wind there. And a great deal easier to deal with than coastal areas.
Actually, most truck owners that I know will happily switch to this, assuming done right. You have better torque then an F350. Likewise, if you have 90kwh and can access that for power tools, it becomes useful for on-site work. Assume the frunck can hold the toolbox. And likewise, you can get a battery pack that holds close to 200kwh so that you can go 500 mpc , if needed. Finally, an AWD with the weight equally distributed between axles so that driving in snow, ice and mud is easy, will please any truck owner.
First off, superchargers are set up along major highways every 200 miles. Would you be adversed to stopping at 200 mile, filling up for say 1 hour FOR FREE, and then continuing on?
Secondly, Tesla designed their vehicles to have swappable batteries. In addition, they are going to introduce a pack later this year which will give the MS and MX about 500 mpc. Would oppose renting such a pack for your trip?
Tesla will be out with a battery pack later this year which will give the MS or MX, 500 mpc. With towing, it cuts it down to about 1/2. And considering that superchargers are about 200 miles apart, not a big deal.
Well, it was what USSR and China refereed to it, as did our politicians. Of course, from a true academician POV, it was never Communist, but totalitarian. As one that was part of the Cold war, I find it interesting to see how we continue to bring it up as Communism, and do not change our tune.
while I agree with you that current policies around the globe are obviously not designed to solve the CO2 issue, that does not mean that this network is NOT a good idea. It would not bring emissions down 78%, but, it would allow us to convert more areas into smaller grids, let them have their own batteries and then shop the cheapest electricity. In addition, like our national highway, it would enable us to make use of it during emergency times. Finally, if we are smart, we would require that all of the construction and equipment be done in America.
Seriously, there is NO WAY that this would cut 78% of our CO2. However it makes good sense from not only economics, but also for the ability to provide emergency power.
Always whining and never have anything intelligent to say except to make wild ass claims that THEIR rights are being violated and the constitution thrown out.
Of course, nobody in the soviet bloc or even china has ever experienced communism. They experienced totalitarianism and China still does. Many would argue that so does Russia. Regardless, we have not seen large scale communism in the world yet.
Quite the opposite. We pollute far far less than China. China accounts for more than 2/3 of all mercury emissions. they also account for more than 30% of emissions using estimates. With . In addition, their CO2 / $GDP is in the bottom 3.
America accounts for less than 14% of total co2 emissions, with our co2 / $GDP in the middle range. In addition, our co2 continues to drop.
Europe has around 13% of total CO2, with their CO2 / $ GDP just a bit better than America's.
The small forges do not contribute that much to co2.
The overbuilding of the power plants is predicated on the idea that China's coal production has gone down. The problem is, that it has not. China is opening new coal mines EVERY YEAR and has not closed any others, or slowed down at them.
population size has NOTHING to do with emissions. Secondly, emissions prior to 1850 certainly were NOT 0. They are much higher due to Europe and China burning loads of coal for millenniums. Both places used up more than 1/2 of their coal.
OTOH, emissions are MOSTLY tied to $GDP. IOW, it is the business world, along with choices by the businesses and govs, that decide how and where CO2 comes from. As such, Europe and America are actually pretty close in emissions / $ GDP. OTOH, China is one of the worst 3 nations in the world, and that is based even on their false data. With real data, it is certainly the worst.
You do know that America has had elections decided by playing poker. Yes?
yup. Just like Trumps, Cruz's, Rubio's, Bush's, etc 'Donations' from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Russia (and yes, Russia VERY much wants another conservative like W in the office; he did NOTHING when RUssia invaded), China, etc.
You are right, but that is because you have nothing intelligent to say.

So whatever nation that is launching it will be their regulator.

so, that pretty much makes her part of the GOP.
No, just switch the pack, city boy.
I have been amazed that electric car companies are missing a golden opportunity with electric companies AND uspo.

Tesla will never ever do a hybrid. Nor does it make sense save for semis, military vehicles, etc.
Nope. Musk has already said numerous times that it is a pickup truck. He has hinted at developing in Texas, if the GOP will quit blocking competition.
Lol. If you think that highlander goes off-road, but X does not, well, u obviously work for another car company.
Newegg should INSIST on getting compensated for all of this. In fact, I think that they can ask for 10x the compensation. No?
