    Now high tech start-ups can spend investment dollars on worthwhile things like "making products people want" and "hiring salespeople to sell them" and god forbid "quality support and documentation"...goodbye to bad garbage. The only thing you get from comdex is a bill and the knowledge of how many strippers will fit on your lap at once. A lot of people squander it and don't learn that second thing.

    The "not so random" shuffle... same as random shuffle but there is an added "dislike" button that picks a new random song and flags the disliked tune so they can be dealt with in bulk later and are taken out of the shuffle loop... And if the RIAA weren't a bunch of money grubbing scammers they would let you return the disliked songs for a refund.

    I'm 4 years into a patent examination... I wish I could go back and reword some of the original text... You need to define everything upfront because they wont let you change your application other than to clarify better what you have already claimed. You'll have to file a new patent for anything extra. I am pretty sure I got a bad draw...one of the rookies... my advice is to use understandable claims that are phrased in a way that AI and indexing software will never find any matches... If you use popular words and phrasings you are asking for trouble.

    I'm sorry... this article feels like an infomercial for pseudoscience. With abstractions like "Does the number 12 exist?" I have to wonder why it made the cut to even appear on slashdot. We could also pretend we're Vulcans and talk about the deflector dish, but it certainly isn't worth slashdot coverage.
