Itanic now only used for HP/UX. Those big customers are forced to move to a different platform. Why would they continue to choose Oracle - the company that forced them to move?
ZDNet article (http://www.zdnet.com/blog/security/microsoft-continues-push-for-infected-computers-to-be-quarantined/8164) a little more informative.
Combining trusted software such as hypervisors and hardware elements such as a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) could further enable consumer devices to create robust health certificates and ensure the integrity of user information
cell with fast CPU, *nix-based OS, wireless keyboard & screen. Sit at my desk & start typing. Away from desk - have to pull phone out of pocket. Get home to large screen & k/b - seemlessly back on/.
Quantum computing - very cool, but I'm more interested in the possibility of transmitting data instantly. Running synchronous replication half-way around the globe without latency problems. Nobody seems to talk much about it, but entanglement would make this possible?
12% of iPhone owners have been put off smartphones altogether, another 11% want a smartphone but not from Apple. 2% would consider a Windows phone!! (The Android numbers are so messed up they aren't even worth taking notice of).
I'd like to see IBM support z/OS under Hercules. It would certainly be handy to be able to run up a test platform without enormous expense, and would certainly introduce a lot of new people to how things are done on 'big iron'. They own the product - they can licence it how they like. But I'd love to be able to play sysprog with a modern OS. Good for me, good for IBM?
My initial thoughts were along this line, but started to wonder about storage violations - unusual conditions overwriting the throttle position sensors. (awfully difficult to replicate)
Certainly sounds like he's much more coordinated than me!!
this is actually an interesting article. Certainly more thought-provoking than the latest smart-phone malware.
Pr0n industry would be able to save a fortune in bandwidth!
- contradiction in terms
But if the bulbs are wireless...

Not for much longer, the way Itanic is going...
Think it's been around 12 years - before Y2K anyway

So dark sometimes, you can't see the wall you just walked into!
Need more LED's on my PC's...
Just re-adjust their position on the scale - still above M$ & Apple & below OSF, Mozilla
Every Phoenix project crashes & burns - should've called it "mote"!!

How many dimensions could be encoded on the surface of 3 dimensions?
A great read - intro to OED & interesting similarities to wikipedia
I expected something a little more symmetrical - better use of space

If you aim to make the best, you should be using your own product?
