    IN modern times, tans also are indicators of Leisure and therefore wealth, but historically that wasn't the case-- rich folks were a whiter shade of pale to specifically not be farmer-tanned.

    I doubt evolution has had much effect on humans since Tudor times. Anything since the invention of writing is modern on evolutionary timescales.

    I've had precisely one problem with an init script, ever. It was that long ago I found the solution in an actual paper book.

    Every systemd based distro I've even tried has given me problems of some kind.

    Weighed a ton but an absolute beast back in the day. Still going strong now for general office stuff and games from that era.

    Wish I'd bought more memory though.
