I would highly recommend Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. It's fun, has a great story, can be played 3 ways, and is creepy as hell. It took a while to finish because I never played it if I was home alone at night...too freaky.:-p
I'm a big fan of SSX Tricky, too.

"Want to dedicate your valuable life learning a language totally controlled by Sun Microsystems...?"
Ever heard of.NET? The "write in any language we give you, but it's all the same and only runs on Windows" framework. Even C++ is basically controlled by MS now.
From my experience, Java is much nicer for enterprise-level web applications than anything MS offers. As for desktop apps, it's fruitless to write desktop apps in Java when 95% of your customers are running Windows and MS has meager support for Java, at best. So you may not find Java apps on store shelves, but you don't have to look very hard to find desktop Java in the open source community.
Almost every program I run at work is Java-based and smokes the Windows-only counterparts most people use. So please don't go spouting your "truth" on something you know nothing about.
Yeah, Jedi Outcast is one of the most well-rounded and fun games I've ever played.
I've never wanted to be a Jedi more than the first time I Force Pushed a bad guy off a cliff.:-)
The bullet-time lightsaber duels were uber-sweet, too.
Actually "affect" is correct. "Effect" is a noun (i.e., to have an effect on something). "Affect" is a verb (i.e., to affect something). Silly English majors.:-p
I fail to see how expressing your opinion about a war is un-American. You can still support your country even if you disagree with its leadership, just like you can support our troops and disagree with the war. This country is founded on the principles of free speech and diversity of ideas, so please think about it before you start tagging your fellow countrymen with McCarthy-esque phrases like "un-American." Thanks.
Online games are one of the last sanctuaries where we can socialize and have fun without being bombarded by the corporate advertising machine. I, for one, don't like thinking of myself as a potential score for the ad-peddling media cartels.
The first time I see a McDonald's sign in this game, I'm bailing and going back to Minesweeper.:-p
I've been playing the beta for about a week now, and I'm blown away by the possibilities for this game.
Everyone has the ability to 3-D model objects and then script them to do whatever they want in-game. There are a bunch of pre-manufactured objects for you to play with, but you are free to build anything you can dream up. I've already seen guns, planes, pool tables, slot machines, skyscrapers, log cabins...it's really amazing how in-depth this world has already become.
Honestly, why do marketers think that if they beligerently prod us with their advertisements, we will want to buy their product. For me, the more annoying the ad, the higher the degree of vengence I swear upon that company.
And as soon as I find my trusty steed and finish off these windmills, I will unleash my wrath upon them all....muahahahah!:-p
Here are four of my favorites, but (as mentioned above) you may not find each one funny if you haven't played Tribes 2, Resident Evil, Warcraft 3, and Asheron's Call 2, respectively.
So someone was offended by a PA comic and complains to American Greetings???
Here's the problem with America: people have no sense of responsibility for themselves. If you have an issue with a PA comic, complain to PA, don't complain to American Greetings so they will fight your battle for you.
AG should have no say over what PA posts on their site unless it legally has no right to be there. You can't hold one group accountable for another group's opinions.
As a big fan of PA, I gotta say that's about the funniest thing thing I've read all week. I can already imagine the comic. You should send your idea to Gabe and Tycho.:-)
"The banned strip is clearly a work of parody, which I believe is still legal in this country..."
While this is just an excuse for American Greetings to bully PA into submission, I think the problem they ran into was that they were not parodying Strawberry Shortcake, they were using that icon to parody American McGee. I believe there's some kind of BS loophole that since their icon was not the one being parodied, they could successfully sue for infringement. Either way, PA doesn't have the legal muscle to back-up any kind of challenge by a powerhouse like AG.
Furthermore, where do you draw the line? If you are making a home movie and the radio is on in the background, could that be considered copyright infringement?
...will there be multiplayer?
Following Microsoft's audit of South Korea, North Korea has agreed to dismantle its nuclear program, fearing repercussions.
Yeah, Gamecube has some awesome titles out.
:-p

Harry Potter with Guns
:-p
Ok, so obviously Harry would be Neo and Hermoine would be Trinity, but who would be Morpheus?
My vote's for Dumbledore. Just imagine him in a black trenchcoat with some slick shades.

Crow T. Robot from MST3K.

it sounds suspiciously like a record contract. :-p

The Iraqi people may not be free (as in speech), but now they are free (as in beer) for U.S. corporations to fully take advantage of.
:-p
This must have been what Bush was referring to...he just wasn't being clear.
lol...my bad. There's too many good ones. PA is hit and miss a lot of the time, but when they hit, they hit hard. :-)

Fort Smith, Arkansas...Arizona is AZ.
This may be a bit dated, but a newsgroup post from January has Alan Ralsky's registration information with his PO Box as follows:
Alan Ralsky
PO Box 89
Fort Smith, AR 72903
Is there any way to verify this?
