I did say crash courses. Obviously, a whole language can't be taught in a week or two, especially to 14 year olds. However, it's enough to get youngsters going and having fun using the languages.
When I was younger, during the summers between junior high and high school, I used to go to iD tech camps. I went to the one on the Stanford campus specifically. While there, I got to meet other kids interested in the same things as myself, and I got to go through some short, week long programming language crash courses. If I remember correctly, iD taught me Java, C++, and C#. They had other courses besides programming, such as video editting, and web page design. It was a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend it to others!
I use GoDaddy for cheap hosting and domain name registration. Which inexpensive provider should I switch to for a similar set of CONVENIENT services that actually cares about my rights?
Of course it's becoming the second most popular web browser. It is the easiest browser to use! There's only one confusing box that you can type things into at the top of the screen, and people like that. Many older people (I constantly watch my parents do this) type their searches into where one would normally put the URL, instead of the IE or Safari-provided search fields. In Chrome, this is not a problem!
So, if I install Chrome on a clueless person's computer, and they try using it, they will find that Chrome allows them to do something that the other browsers would either choke on, or, depending on your ISP, just return awful search results? It makes sense to me that Chrome is pulling ahead.
I'm really not interested enough in regular television to purchase one. What shows I am interested in, usually show up on Netflix and Hulu, both of which I can (and do) watch on my computer. It made more sense to just buy a larger monitor.
With new "cloud" storage products for people begin to pushing off things that don't need to be fast - like music collections, for example. Because of this, there is less need for vast amounts of slow memory at our fingertips, and the need will continue to fall because not only are the prices of SSDs going to continue to drop, but our internet connections are going to get faster, giving us more cloud storage capabilities. The SSDs are going to take over because they makes systems appear to be much faster, and they reduce power consumption. As more and more people buy computers equipped with SSDs, the amount of people willing to buy anything equipped with an old fashioned box of spinning discs is going to go down by a lot.
More Wi-Fi will make more less fertile men. Many people believe that we currently have overpopulation issues, so this could be an excellent way to fix it. Free laptops for every male!
A recent LulzSec post on twitter reads:
"Oh, oh, finally! Media, please be sure to report on the actual files we leaked, not just our silly press statement. Much love. 3 Ciao. 3"
As Rambo said, "Nothing is over!" At least, that's how I read it.
Okay, this is the most stupid thing ever. We should be preventing 12 year olds from buying these games. Not 18 year olds. Does anyone here understand how mature the average 18 year old is? More than half of 17 year olds (source) have had sex! Does anyone really think this is going to change anything? Get out of my country with your conservative bullshit, please.
It's a neat hack but look at it! It's ugly! There's a big black thing going over the top. Anyone who thinks this has been "properly engineering it all into an Ives-worthy design" has got a screw loose.
So are these pirated Chinese GameCubes running the same hardware as a Nintendo GameCube? I'm kind of interested because as I understood it GC's used fairly custom hardware.
Not only are people dumb, but they get used to using one browser. No matter what type of computer they are. For example, my school bought a bunch of iMacs this year. They all run OS X, and all of them have Safari. What browser to people use 90% of the time? Internet Explorer. Which browser is easier to find? Safari. It's in the freaking dock. Where is Internet Explorer? In the Application directory of the hard drive with OS X installed on it. People are so stupid and hooked on Internet Explorer that they spend extra time trying to find it. They don't understand that IE is not the internet.
I think if other companies want their browsers to be used, they should give them a name that has INTERNET in it. That way people will know that you're going on the internet. What the hell has Firefox got to do with the internet? Same goes for Netscape, Opera, and Safari.

Does that mean you support the 99%?
Yet another reason to rally against them!

I came in here to post the same thing. How many people actually write that way?
and it sounds like one guy held up the whole thing. It was an 11-1 vote AGAINST Microsoft. Sounds like we spotted a fanboy!
I think you mean Porsche collection, I don't think Bill Gates owns any Ferraris.
Did they find more hidden in a closet somewhere?
If that judge does not acknowledge bloggers as journalists, I do not recognize him as a judge. What an idiot.
It's got electrolytes!

Why? I like my body. I love my body...
Where is this $15,000 F355? Average price on autotrader is $89,000 with a low of $55,000.
That is what warranty is for.
Better - get some older hardware and some gigantic heatsinks and have everything passively cooled.
We're not having the Red Scare anymore. Why didn't he label them terrorists? That's today's thing.
