Sure, it's not easy to use compared to the zero-thought of word, but it's really not that hard. I suppose I should thank people who still use word, though, because, being in the minority, my papers always look far more professional.
and had a less stupid name
Agreed, but MySpace is also a retarded name, and people love it.
So why aren't packets to and from the tracker encrypted? I would think that would be one of the first things to happen, long before peer-peer encryption.
Huh, that's funny. My understanding, from talking with many people who work for a certain (unnamed) ISP, the biggest problem is streaming media, not bittorrent, and as such most users would NOT find metered internet to be cheaper at all.
Agreed 100%, but if somebody posted an article of any of those topics as news (as this is), chances are even the h8ers (only because you used "fanbois") would be telling you it's old.
America is free of terror because it only has a tiny amount of muslims.
So, is it reasonable to assume from your comment that you believe Islam is the source of terrorism? So, all we have to do is eliminate Islam, and the world will be safe? There wouldn't be any reason they're doing these things, just that they're Muslim? What about the peaceful Muslims? What about the terror acts not carried out in the name of Allah?
Am I the only one who finds this game to be boring
The game isn't out yet. It's not even close. Good job, you declared it boring from screenshots that can hardly be called "alpha". Judging a book by it's cover is fine, amirite?
Times have changed. People are more interested in deep characters
That's why the Gauntlet series has been running companies out of business and has no clones in the market, right?
There's still something to be said for an adrenaline-rush clickfest. People (lots of people) find this type of game fun, and will just end up cliking through the dialogue because they just don't care. Remember, you're not the only one who plays videogames, and, by the sound of it, you'd have a much better time playing an interactive movie like Metal Gear Solid.
The "why" matters? Anyone worth their salt in the field will tell you that, no, humans are far from the only cause, but we're certainly contributing. And, in the end, the why doesn't matter at all - what matters is, if things keep going the way they are, humanity is going to die off. I happen to think that's something worth changing, our fault or not.
People have been caught by that on the infamous 4chan's "random" board. Somebody started a topic with the text saying, more or less "Hey guys, watch this! If you type in a valid social security number, it wordfilters to all Xs. Watch.
XXX-XX-XXXX"
Most people went along with the joke and just posted Xs. However, some people actually posted their real SSN (and then complained about how they couldn't remove the post).
As my father always said, "Stupidity is always terminal."
Ffffffuck, is that a typo on Safari? That's stupendously huge! Is that because they have to load up some kind of ridiculous layer to make this mac-alike app run on windows? I know that iTunes uses a ton of ram too, but not six hundred megs huge.
Me neither, and now I know for certain that I don't want do buy it. 3/10? That's epicly low for a game review - usually a bad game doesn't get below a 5/10 on most sites.
1) Most people would much rather be told what to believe than form their own opinions 2) In order to get elected to office in the US, you need to use underhanded techniques to make people believe they should vote for you. 3) Allowing people to "think for themselves" only means that your ideas are less likely to permeate into the general population 4) If the left does this, they will never again elect somebody into office. 5) Conversely, the right could do the same thing, as neither side will back down just because the other will.
Pretty surprising come from the left, you know, with their morals and such.
Actually, I thought that the right was known for always pushing that they held the moral higher ground. You know, that whole "Christan/family/constitution/tradition" thing. Since when did the Left all of a sudden become the "holders of morality"?
I've always found both sides to be as equally immoral.
You know as well as I that your philosophy only works for people who are both willing and able to look for information on their own, which most people are not. If the left consistently acted in that way, they'd never elect another person to office, because the Right isn't going to stop doing what they're doing just because the left is. On the contrary, they'd take as much advantage of it as possible.

SAHTECYCWA?
Some memes never get old. Thank you, Anonymous.
And everything I can do in word I can do in LaTeX - and more. Strangely enough, the LaTeX specs don't make my head spin. As much.
Even with the links, I had no idea what you said.
I just got an image of Mario Goatse, thanks.
*shudder*

Huh, this is the only one I don't know the origin on. Anyone mind filling me in?
Most major universities "deflate" the GPA when determining admissions.
I think he was referring to our subsequent invasion of other middle eastern countries on false premises.

Emphasis mine.

No, in fact, the only time Firefox has crashed on me (2.0 forward) has been when Adobe Reader was shit.

No no no. My theory goes like this:
1) Most people would much rather be told what to believe than form their own opinions
2) In order to get elected to office in the US, you need to use underhanded techniques to make people believe they should vote for you.
3) Allowing people to "think for themselves" only means that your ideas are less likely to permeate into the general population
