Oh, man. That is so what we need. The SlashPope. A man dedicated to the leadership of geeks and other angsty teenagers. Now, some may say that Cowboy Neal is, but I disagree. We must vote on the SlashPope from the members of the community.
The SlashPope would make it a lot easier - he would just tell you your opinion. No more confusion over whether to hate Microsoft, IBM, Java, etc. No more arguments over whether or not Google is evil. We can now speak as one unified voice - and this voice will be the SlashPope.
My current favorite place to find good music is DMusic. I don't think it even qualifies as Indy because all the music is released for free, for everyone. There are a few amazing artists on that site.
Although, I'll take a look at weedshare. Looks interesting.
Actually... isn't this going to hurt Nikon a lot more than it's going to hurt Adobe? I mean, if you're buying a camera, and you hear one's not compatable with the hugely popular Photoshop, will you buy it? I wouldn't.
Quite honestly, I've never heard somebody call "Housing and Urban Development" hud. HUD is Heads Up Display. Wouldn't you be confused if someone came up to you and said "Yeah, there's so much new HUD going on around here these days."
Too late to get noticed now, but I'll post this nonetheless. Go check my music site. http://koiulpoi.dmusic.com. Anyone in the OSS world asks me, I'll be glad to let them use tracks for game soundtracks.
Being young has nothing to do with it. I've played through the first three zork games, and I'm only 18. I wasn't even born when zork came out! And yes, I liked it. Great games, in my opinion. I haven't since seen anything like it. Well, there was this MUCK called Crossroads. Oh, and nice sig.
I played through Max Payne 2, but never found that point in the game. Where was it? Can you point me to any audio clips of it on the 'net, seeing as I don't want to play through it again?
I must disagree with the article. If Final Fantasy 6 defines RPGs as a genere, then I hate RPGs. Experience has shown I do not hate RPGs, just the Final Fantasy series/style. I would submit KOTOR. Or Phantasy Star 4.
Not speech as in talking, more like speech as in expression your opinion. Since apparently when you give money to something you like, you're expressing your opinion, that if that was regulated, so would be your speech. This completly misses the fact that you can still express all the opinions you want about that party - just not in the form of direct monetary contributions.
Can reality TV get any worse?
What have I done...
But without flash, how can you know what castle the princess is in, or wether or not everyone really does love magical trevor!?
I predict that when this happens, Slashdot's humor rating - such as it was - will drop abysmally.
May I ask what that is? I did a google search, and got no results, with the option to change the search to "Torg's Techno Puppy"
The smoke from a burning webserver would work much better.
Why? Are you living under an opressive government/opressive tech dept/opressive significant other/opressive parole officer?

Is that -1 Troll a preemtive mod to yourself, or a mod to Hitchhiker series?

Holla to a fellow fruitylooper!
It's all relative. That's why I try to keep my mouth shut sometimes. That's why I am now. This post never happened.
As much as I wish it too (for better moderaton), this is not PhPBB. Try a href the next time.
Actually, is there a "Mod Points" system avaliable for PhPBB or SMF?

Oh, I agree. Fuck Adobe.
I think you just blew the minds of everyone here.
Google's not an enterprise level operating system.
Although, that would be cool. I would run it.
And it's not like the Iraqi Insurgents have such a huge technological infrastructure that this would be useful against anyways.

I never played Urban Arcana. For my modern day fix, I prefer Shadowrun. More room for craziness, and I never liked the D20 system anyways.

Legislators do look at legilsation. Sometimes. But that's why we have committies. Perhaps we need ourselves slashdot submission committies.
