Most LEDs run in the IR spectrum, not UV. And without UV filtering, you would have to pay very close attention to wearing sunglasses every time you go outside.
No, it's not the same risk. If you develop something for the XBox, they won't randomly pull it after approving it. The approvals process is much more transparent with ANY other system than the iOS, as you call it. How many stories have there been of apple retroactively pulling apps because the apps do something they suddenly want to do, or don't want the phone to do? Now, how many of those stories have you seen about that same thing happening in all the other OSs you mention, combined?
Most cops are good people. My uncle is a cop, and a good guy. I'd wager 75% or more are good people, out to do their best to protect and serve. But being a police officer attracts a certain personality type, one that wants to control others. And they get together and protect each other because the rest of us are all out to get them, and they pull the good cops in because of various leverage, and just the fact that they're all on the same team. If they don't look out for each other, who will look out for them?
So... you're saying I should trust the system because it's the system, not because it's there to actually protect me?
The proper response to this is to not try to outlaw recording. It's to make cops aware that recording is happening, and they should act like it at all times. I pay my taxes to pay their salaries... I expect them to do their fucking jobs, not take my money to abuse me and my fellow citizens.
If you're out in public where anyone can point a camera at you, it's the truth. There's a difference between what you do behind closed curtains being private and what you do on a public street being private. If a cop loses his shit and decides to beat your ass down for talking back to him in the middle of a public place, why should he think he should be immune from being recorded?
Making it middle-class in the US, if you actually save instead of spend, is plenty to live like a king in many areas of the world. A decent job and smart saving (get a smaller house, cheaper car, save instead of spend, pay off credit cards, cut out unnecessary fluff) can get you a million for retirement, easy. A million dollars US in many other countries is more than enough to live very comfortably in a veritable castle.
Er... there I go. A whole rant using "would" instead of "could", which is what you said. Still, same principle applies, just replace every instance of "would" with "could" in my previous post. That teaches me to not use the preview button to actually preview...
Was that post written ironically? It's hard to catch sarcasm online...
If it wasn't, the proper idiom is "would have", not "would of". The part that probably confuses you is you always hear "would've", which is a contraction of "would" and "have", but sounds like "would of"
Fortunately, wireless isn't as limited in infrastructure as wired is. A competing wireless company can move into another one's turf without having to spend nearly as much as a wired system to each endpoint.
How much cheaper is it to set your house up with WiFi than to get Cat5e strung everywhere? Even if you get in during the initial building phase, it's a lot cheaper to do wireless anything.
Chrome has absolutely jack and shit to do with flash performance. If you referenced an HTML5 game, that isn't necessarily the case, but you didn't, so...
Who cares about honey? The reason we want bees is because they pollinate most plants that we use for food. I personally like having vegetables available.
Could you make your server at home a little smarter, so it can detect you're on your way home instead of just when you arrive? I'm sure you probably take a similar route most days, so as it can tell you're passing from one zone to another zone heading home, it can trigger things without a wait. Might be nice if it's raining;)
Really? Seems a lot of people that I've switched to Open Office are VERY happy that they don't have to pay $300 for an office suite to type up reports, especially since the interface is more familiar to them than the Office 2003 and later interfaces.

Oh yes! Just like the 911 system, where you have a different number to call for every emergency!
My point exactly.

If you did mean it ironically, I apologize ;)
Or just use ^W instead of ^H a bunch of times

Are you also hesitant to buy any Apple products because the original 3G won't run iPhone OS4? That's fragmentation, oh noes!@@#!@#

Should I get off your lawn now, grandpa?
And if you don't have any Valve games, the Valve Complete Pack is a pretty good steal at $99

Is there a reason you don't just use CentOS, which is all but identical to RHEL? Fedora is a desktop OS primarily.
You bought a $300 inkjet. The problem is you bought an inkjet. Go laser.
In other news, it couldn't have come at a better time for the American citizen and consumer.
Standing up to a bully and getting hurt is better than just rolling over. Even if you lose, you still stood up to him. And that's worth something.
The virtual machines they provide are fine for testing different resolutions. Why would you need the actual phone?
