Computer glitches and malfunctions happen, and that is forgiveable. What makes this so idiotic of the company is they did not have any backups. No competent company would go around without redundancy of critical equipment as well as backups.
Its also passed 1 on the Palermo Scale (1.03) (meaning its 10 times more likely to hit earth than the backround chance of one hitting in the time period between now and the expected date of impact) This is only the second time ive seen an asteroid above 0 on the Palermo Scale. (the other asteroid isnt expected to hit till the late 2800's and is around a.2 (50% above backround))
Are they running SCO Unix on their server? If they are, then that means SCO Unix is not secure and they have false advertizing. If not, then they are hypocrytes for saying they are the best solution, then using somthing else. Either way it looks bad.
Most likely these organs either had something wrong with them making them inelegable for transplant (Aka using a heart that had a heart attack, or did not go into storage quickly enough but is still good enough for scientific work) or the organ did not match anyone who needed a doner (If it dosnt match the organ will almost cirtainly be rejected) Also people who give their body parts to scientific research rather than for organ donation have a right to do so.
Speak for yourself. I plan to live forever;)
Anyway with human lifespans getting longer and longer, there will probably be quite a few of us left in 70 years. In 90 years it may be a different story however.
I used opera a couple times. My faviorite was the "bork bork" version wich translated msn.com into sweedish chef in response to msn.com perposly making itself look broken to the opera browser. Link here to the slashdot story on it: http://slashdot.org/articles/03/02/14/1256231.shtm l
They both returned 0. But it will change to 1 when they index this page. (and I did use quotes in the search)
Without the quotes AltaVista found 345,000 results and google found about 142,000.
Its 1.8 million bars, not 18 million. 1 bar for every 750 people, equivelent to 390,000 bars in the US
1% of bars needed rectification (1 out of every 100).089% were closed (1 out of every 11,250)
Right now the food supply for SUV's (gasoline) is plentiful, but shrinking. As the food supply dwindles natural selection will take its course and the large SUV's will starve while the smaller ones that need less food will survive.
Maybe it was just a group a midjets that lived on another island, Judging from brain size Id say the group that was found was the polititians. My theory is that the group of midjets were tierd of all the false lies and promises from the polititians, and exiled them to the island the bones were found on. Being politicians, they were not smart enough to shoose a cave that was right next to a volcano that was currently erupting, and perished within days of arriving on the island.
We need a better scale of hardness anyway Our current one does not take into account true hardness. (Quartz is 7, dimond is 10, but dimond is around 4 times harder than quartz) Our current mesuring system was developed before we could determine actual hardness of minerals, rather than just comparing them to each other.
What about having watersacks in the walls, when one is punctured, the water coming out will freeze the hole closed. Just need to make the water come out slowly enough to freeze it in place.
But they said there was going to be a sequal in the original movie. Remember, yogert said they would meet up again in "Spaceballs 2: the search for more money"
I have a linux server Ive had for 3 years. Average uptime is about 275 days. Only rebooting was from 1 power outage that lasted longer than the UPS could handle, and when I moved. Updates could be installed without a reboot, just a restart of the affected service.
Well I Use my dell moniter as a space heater (seriously, when my heater broke by leaving my moniter on it would heat my dorm room to 70 degrees when it was in the 20's outside) Sometimes generating a lot of heat is a good thing......

Using DDR for weight loss really does work. A freind of mine lost 90 lbs in a single summer just by playing DDR. She wore through 3 dance pads in the proccess (I think she played it close to 6 hours a day) And this was about 2 years ago. Ive suggested it to a couple other friends but they have yet to try it.
The wind blew off some of the dust. Thats how it got cleaned.

They'll route all the worms to people using AMD proccessors, and then claim they are more vulnerable than Intel ones.
