Genius. Why don't I have mod points right now?
ATM Machine truly drives me nuts. I work with auto dealerships and people refer to VIN Numbers all the time.
Okay you obviously haven't read any of the stuff on the official site. This is a battle to control magic. That's right. Magic is a non renewable resource that shoots out of the ground. It's oil! Second there is no Salish. There's no Seder Krupp, there's no Dunklezahn, etc. etc.. They're not starting from the beginning, they've thrown the beginning out and they're going to rewrite it.
So does this work both ways? Will congress condemn companies for following the law here and applaud them when they break it?
The fact is if they want to get into China they have to follow the law. The law sucks, this is true, but there are many laws I disagree with here and I have the funny feeling my congressman won't bail me out if I decide to break them.
I can't see that? All I said was that getting the weapons is fun for some people. You were claiming that wasn't the way to have fun. I know many people who have never seen the inside of Molten Core and have ridiculous amounts of time on their main character and love WoW. Different strokes for different folks is fine with me.
So for some reason doing something you enjoy is a waste of your life? Peronally, I feel doing things that are not fun and that I do not enjoy to be wasting my life. I enjoy playing WoW. I feel the time I spend playing relaxes me and keeps me happy. How is that a waste of my life?

Listing all the worst qualities of one thing and then listing all of the best points of another is not a valid comparison. Try comparying the variable sizes on one to the other, rather than comparing variable sizes to instruction speed.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Microsoft is putting out a solid OS, I'm just saying that it's flaws are overexposed but the sheer amount of use it gets. I know that the bugs reported on software I write is directly proportional to the number of people using it. Users will find the most asinine, crackheaded things to do with your software and Microsoft has more asinine crackheads using it than anyone else.
This author makes it sound like the FSF put a gun to these people's head, made them usen open source software, then tried to nail them for it. They could have written their own proprietary code and never had to release it. The chose to use GPL code, now they have to play by the rules. It's that simple.
One day people are going to realize that the fact that something computes does not mean you have to put Linux on it. That day the combined brain power released will result in a cure for pretty much everything you can think of.
Yet another in a long line of projects designed to ruin something by slapping Linux on it. Now you too can go from XBox to paperweight with one simple install!
What the heck does "UFO-like" mean? Is that something that's been identified, but looks like it hasn't? Or is it something that you know you can identify, and the name is on the tip of your tongue, but you just can't remember it?
You know, they did post it. So claiming that they posted it seems pretty valid to me. Now, had they said, "We have just developed a very difficult method for turning your ATI Radeon 9500 into a 9700...", that would be a different story.
I'm sure hamsnetwork.org is a super, super reliable site.

Here's a page you should definitely read, though.

Absolutely. This was just poorly designed, planned, and understood. These sorts of problems happen on new projects. What do you blame in that case?

Oh if I only had mod points. I give you kudos and huzzahs. I wonder what the access time would be like on that mother humper.

For some people getting the great item and defeating an extremely difficult boss is fun. But I guess everyone should play games your way.
The poster didn't mention every tool ever written? The bastard!
I did not read your post so as to avoid a lawsuit. Due to this I can only assume that you are a buffoon and your post full of gibberish.
You really need to update your repretoire!

Blaming it on Microsoft is foolish. There are exploits in every OS out there. People write for MS because it's what people use.

The idea of a new Heinlein novel makes me tingle in my pink parts. The Moon is a Harsh Mistress changed my whole idea of what sci-fi should be.

So does purchasing the software imply agreement now?
This chair be high, says I.

This seems like a really good way to have to buy two graphics cards.
I suppose it would if you did it on a Microsoft board. But that would bring the elite shock troops crashing down on you.
