For a guy called "ChaoticChaos", you sure are a marketing company's dream. By the way, I bet this 7700 doesn't play music anywhere near as well as my iPod ($299), nor does it sync with Outlook as well as my Toshiba e755 ($399).
I just don't see how iTunes can integrate smoothly into my constant lockups and reboots that have come with my latest critical updates. Hopefully Apple will be smart enough to include this non-functionality into the Windows version, because if they don't I can't see this succeeding- and thus Apple will undoubtedly die.
I've got to say that I agree wholeheartedly. I have found that I get the best response from clients when I only give them a proposal with options A, B, and C in ascending cost order. Only after they choose one of the options do we move forward with the "add-ons" and those are done one at a time, so they can truly make a decision rather than flip-flopping.
You know I think I went a little knee-jerk on you there. I appreciate the fact that you, in fact, did try to help someone (which many others would not). It is an extraordinarily difficult thing to do. As someone with an addict for a family member (who often borders on the brink of homelessness), I do understand the frustration, but I believe that a lot of people speak about addiction- which is the root cause of the majority of homelessness- as something that a person chooses. While I agree that they choose to take that first drink or that first whatever, they do not see how easy it is to lose control.
As a matter of fact my best friend's wife is a social worker who deals with the homeless on a daily basis. You are right in that it is a truly difficult thing. But you TRULY do not understand the power of addiction and mental illness. The answer is not, cannot be to give up on them. You said that it was a choice to be homeless. Why in the world would anyone make that choice conciously? That is the fundamental flaw in your argument. And yes, I have personally had a homeless person live with me for a brief period. And I did have to ask him to leave, but that was my problem because I could not do what I set out to do. Your grand sweeping statement about addiction simply showed that you have no idea about how to deal with addiction or mental illness. If you want to be educated go to an NA meeting or volunteer at a soup kitchen.
I work in the admissions department of a Community College which uses SSNs for SIDs. One of the reasons that it is almost necessary to use the ss# as the identifier is because of the transcripts that we require for admissions into certain degree programs. We have about 20,000 unidentifiable documents that have only the name as the identifier on them, and 99% of these documents use maiden names, so without some uid (even as little as a current name and a birth date) , they are utterly worthless, and thus end up in a dead letter office. I personally recieve the same documents over and over again, but without the sending party taking the step to identify people, the documents aren't processed and people are denied admission because they miss deadlines.
The A7V333 at least says "SYSTEM FAILED CPU TEST" in a lovely Chinese woman's voice over and over and over again. These boards are starting to get notorious for their numbers shipped DOA.
I have had a hotmail account for years, and yes, spam used to be a problem. But I would say over the last year I get maybe one spam per week on that account. I hear this all the time, but I never see the evidence. I don't even bother to set any particular spam filters (if there are any???) because it's not a problem anymore.
Including the author? This is not a piece of Microsoft hardware...

I aquired a school district's entire network.

Then you have obviously never used it.
And that would make the Bush I recession belong to...
Holy crap! Have you ever heard of market share?
The first gathering of geeks large enough to be visible from orbit.
Whoa buddy, you know what happens when you get three geeks together.
Be nice, or I'll strangle you with a piece of this thicknet cable.

Ah, here is compasionate conservatism rearing its ugly head again. How about walking in their shoes before passing judgement?
"I used to think the same thing but then I tried to help a homeless person." I ask how.
"The sad thing is they make the decision to be homeless." You can't be serious.
"Unfortanetly, alot of the homeless are not willing to go off drugs, so they get kicked out of the programs." Ah, addiction is a choice!
Ass.
And I swore to myself I would never complain about the moderators. This is ridiculous.
Let freedom Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing. Let the white dove Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.
Why do they always post as cowards?
Pedantic: adj : marked by a narrow focus on or display of learning especially its trivial aspects
Thank god. A true PJ fan. Now, count the times that kong takes a hit to the junk.

I've got an old compaq Cyrix 233 with 96 MB of ram and it runs both xp and Suse 8.1 just fine.

does the whole 'if you must donate to my girlfriend's paypal account' thing sound like a scam in and of itself?
