Since an extra coprocessor would require a new motherboard and whatever else, surely (at least in the short term) making use of the hardware thats already available would be beneficial.
Also, unlike a math coprocessor, people who will have a need for a physics engine are more likely to be those who also have fast graphics cards.
Whilst the concepts are sound, making an entire subset of motherboards to support a fraction of the population seems foolhardy at best.
It appears as though FC5 contains a bug which prevents none GPL modules (read nVidia) from being used. Has this been fixed in this one yet, or is it worth waiting a few more days for the fix to be rolled out?

SAN FRANCISCO, March 22 (Reuters Future News Service) - A saintly holier than though Internet site sco.com has sued the owners of unpopular internet site kinderstart.com, charging it with breaking its copyright on perpetual stories. An attorney at the law firm of fuch, mie and wypme raw commented that "It's unfair to give that kind of free publicity one day, and then take it away the next. Frankly, any company with that much power make's me moist."
They have been astroturfing all over the place and I don't see any actual content pages.
They advertise themselves as a search engine. Google still indexes over 25000 pages by them, and from my initial examination, theres no content. They appear to be just a linkfarm
Google aren't wrong, this kind of thing is what we have been asking them to do for ages (clear out the crap)
And if they don't, then the spyware will survive, whether it be as a nifty screensaver or as a game* or a form filling bot or anything else.
If the MD of a large company wants to run something, whos going to stop him?

I guess thats just personal taste though isn't it?
I mean, there are THOUSANDS of bollywood movies I wouldn't consider watchable/recordable/copyable/piratable, however there are enough people around who DO like them and watch them and will pay for them and pirate them for the studios to worry.
I could imagine something like a geode crystal managing to stay warm and moist in outer space, hell we could discover at the very heart of Halley is an entire ecosystem which comes alive once every 76 years like flowers in the desert.
Named the World's Toughest Bacterium by the Guinness Book of Records, the large red spheres of Deinococcus radiodurans (translation: strange berry that withstands radiation) can not only endure acute radiation doses of up to three million rads but more remarkably, can actually grow when exposed to radiation continuously.
You really don't want to meet this in a dark alley, however with that much radiation, I doubt it would be dark for long.

If I encrypt a mail to somebodys gpg public key and send it already encrypted to their gmail account, exactly how can google store a decrypted version?
I wasn't aware of a wireless monitor adapter? I realise you can distance yourself for the KM, but the V has always been an issue (10metres is the longest I've dealt with)
Slowing the fans down and coating the box in foam could also make the box more susceptable to heat than sitting it in a cupboard running at full cooling efficiency.
I dread Summer time here in England (yes, the 3 days we get sometime in August) because those hot days are the ones when the flakey computers invariably decide to die.
Why not grab the cheaper components and shove the machine in a cupboard?
Theres nothing holding you back and you gain space and reduction in noise without paying. If you live in a colder climate, you could also try rigging up something outside your (upstairs) window.
Incidentally, the 3dmark result is with 3d Mark 2006.
I sold mine for a donut. Incidentally, the datasets I meant were google earth, panning and zooming and rotating on tiled images downloaded as required from the net. If your graphics are storeed in raw format, extracting the cached thumbnails is much simpler than for compressed large format images.
Technically, it should be possible to view your tiny datasets in pretty much realtime. I manage it with terrabytes of data covering thousands of real mile data - over the internet.
You might not make thumbnails, but with efficient caching you won't need to.

Info about it is here.
Its ok, if you believe the first few results based upon my name, I died in an accident a couple of years ago.
It was a shock when I found that one out.
crap slash messes up the links with stars in them, goto archive.org and see the history for kinderstart.com.
That corrosponds with when they fell off archive.org as well
look http://kinderstart.com/>here.
I noticed the archive thing earlier but didn't overly think about it, something big happened to them at that time.

Priceless quote from their press releases (this one is quite old, 2001 infact)
So, you see, all dot coms are not dot bombs!
Well, I think their time has come.
Tick, Tock. Tick, Tock.
Incidentally, even archive.org has stopped wasting space on them (last index march 2005)

We just never get close enough to see it bloom.
How about this:

They can survive anywhere.
Given a large enough need and anything is possible.

I thought the same as well.
However, the judge will by now have read googles' policy and expect them to conform to the letter.
We do not know if "Delete" actually deletes the database transaction, or just sets a deleted flag on it.

Haven't you heard about a marvelous invention called WIRE. :P
It allows your input and output devices to be situated away from the noisey box..
Why not grab the cheaper components and shove the machine in a cupboard?

How exactly do you select the images together to apply tags?
Whenever I do it, its "that one, that one, that one and ermmmmmm that one"
Then I realise that I wanna see one closer and double click on it to view and the selection goes away...
This initial sorting and management will save so much time.
