yeah, reading the article I kept on thinking "but why do they keep on tryin unknown, unused, under-development languages ??". Then they explain that they only used research oriented languages... Seems like they weren't programmers to begin with...
I'd advise logging in, deleting everything, wait a little, then close the account... They probably don't keep backups of deleted items. And, to be real, do you think they have the manpower to sort through the millions of baby photos and drunk people barfing in order to get interesting things ?:p
Since everyone in china has to pass through their great firewall for censorship, couldn't they just use NAT and shut the fuck up ? (for anyone without servers, that is...)
I downloaded the song "someplace else" because I didn't want to give away my email and wait for an activation code, and the servers were overwhelmed anyway... I wouldn't count this as "piracy".
funny, I was reading your post with Randy's voice from my name is Earl in my head, and it was really Randy like:)
"So, the message here is: don't try to download copyrighted stuff and you won't get sued for downloading copyrighted stuff"
(no offence)
there are two kinds of effects, visible effects and invisible effects. visible effects are like when you see king kong in new york, or the whole planet explode, everyone knows that this is NOT happening. invisible effects are the ones you're refering to, like 'god how does he run around the walls of the room without falling' that kind of thing. If you start to notice 'invisible effects', then I guess they're lousy
waow I'm amazed at how people get excited about this topic. I was merely trying to explain why some people might want to ban cartoons, not advocating it ! relax
like most people, I started by wondering why cartoons needed to be banned since no child was molested in doing it. But then I remembered what other uses those cartoons (and real photographies/movies) get put to. They're used for grooming. Paedophiles may use those to show the kids and explain that it's an OK thing to do, "see, everyone's doing it", that kind of thing...
So I guess the line is where you start to over protect or when people start to lose any kind of freedom.
I'm sorry to dawn this on you, but you're not falling behind, the US has been behind europe for a LONG time. Paris, for example is going to be 100% wired with FTTH in the next few years etc etc
US, wake up, you're not the empire you think you are
(alright, I'm sorry I didn't intend this to be flamebait)
PS but of course I'm french, why do you think I have this outrageous accent ?:)

I still wonder why we all talk about this Large Hardon Collector, is this some kind of nympho or somethin' ?
naaah they'll wait for the upgrade patiently :D
or just add "in" then ? :
something like that
sudo ipfw add 100 drop tcp from any to any 6881 in tcpflags rst
I believe that this rule should work for macos X ipfw :
sudo ipfw add 100 drop tcp from any to any 6881 tcpflags rst
change 100 for the rule number that fits in your list
change 6881 for your bittorrent port number
feel free to correct me !
real hackers don't do sex
or did they mean "take cover" ? :p
oh, and I deleted it after listening to it because I didn't like it.
I downloaded the song "someplace else" because I didn't want to give away my email and wait for an activation code, and the servers were overwhelmed anyway...
