You forget that without any kind of regulations, the big ones will talk to each other and make secret agreements to keep prices high, while buying out (or killing/destroying competition). Market autoregulation without any kind of rules is a myth, what you get is mafia and gang control.
I believe this is not intented to be rfc compliant, but rather cloak and dagger stealth message sending... so you can't compare what you tried to accomplish to what they offer.

I think you got it wrong, it's not about offshoring jobs, it's about having your money in a tax free country (ie not bringing tax money back home...) so this won't affect american jobs... (at least directly)
