    unfortunately, this state of paranoia has spread abroad in many countries as well.
    Getting a whole country paranoid is really quick, getting the paranoia out may take years...

    this reminds me when I was in calculus class in high school.
    we had all copied some homework from each others, and of course the
    teacher found out. everyone got F but I got an A... why ?
    because I changed the vector names (ok, it was trigonometry, but in calc class)
    I used names like Mike Joe Jay instead of AB AC CD DE like everybody else :)

    You forget that without any kind of regulations, the big ones will talk to each other
    and make secret agreements to keep prices high, while buying out (or killing/destroying competition).
    Market autoregulation without any kind of rules is a myth, what you get is mafia and gang control.

    I think you got it wrong, it's not about offshoring jobs,
    it's about having your money in a tax free country (ie not
    bringing tax money back home...)
    so this won't affect american jobs... (at least directly)
