Mini-ITX, a 20GB drive and no other devices. The box is build around the components. No extra space wasted:)
It's quite expandable. (Except that in Norway Lego is more expensive than to hire a metal worker from Poland full time in case you need him to build you a bigger pc-case)
The english word 'artist' translates into the norwegian words 'artist' which means rock artist or circus artist (a person that entertains) and the word 'kunstner' which means paint artist or sculptural artist (a person who makes art).
There should be some common syntax to handle these cases. (I could not find one and I actually looked. There was even a post in the forums about the same problem.)
I'm surprised at how many here say things like: "That's geeky!" and "That's a stupid idea!"
News for nerds indeed!
I like the idea. Why not try it out and give a report back later? This is what I think will happen: They will ask you the next time you visit what you gave them because it didn't work in their cd-player or computer. You sit down and show them and they will think it's a fun idea.
Then. The next time people in the news mentions Linux, they will say something like: "Yeah! I've tried Linux. I'm up-to-date in this computer-place-thingy-stuff. This intur-newt-thing."
It's fun. It's nerdy. I can't see why all you so called "nerds" are so negative. If it doesn't hurt anybody. Why is this such a bad idea?
"I'd skip the Linux live CD and give a charitable donation to The Human Fund instead."
Don't tell me that in addition to sending 20 or so christmas carsds to people, you also donate money in their name? He is not giving these cd's as christmas present.
I would be rather puzzled if I got a card saying: "Merry christmas! I've donated half a buck to charity in your name."
To train a neural network to recognize letters divided by open space seems quite easy. I've seen school projects recognizing signatures after 'minimal' training.
What if you create image-elements or rather drawing elements put together and the user has to press buttons for all elements in the picture.
"a PIG with HORNS, JUMPING over a FENCE". Or let the user write in "PIG".
I have a BMW 3.20i from 1987. It cost me about $6000 a year ago. With an 'old' car you _have_ to get under the hood and fix things. It makes no sense in delivering it to a professional because it is time to change the gas-filter or other parts that fails after some years. The equation (fix-it-price / car value) gives too high a price.
In the future, we will not see cars older than 7 or 8 years old because they will be too expecive to maintain in working condition.
This is good for people's safety, but not good for the environment.
The Macintosh SE (1987) is not made for opening. There was no room for the handle which holds the torque-bit. It was impossible to reach into the holes with the screws so I had to put the bit in the end of an old pen and glue the hat on. It worked, and now the pen is a part of my tool set.
In Norway it is LEGAL to download songs. You are even allowed to give out free copies of your own cd's to all your friends. Selling copies is NOT allowed and people you know at work are NOT considered friends. The police in Norway can not bust you for having tons of mp3 on your computer.
Here in Norway it is a good thing to do other stuff than just work all your life. It's called 'experience'. If you and four friends travel around the world in a sailboat for a year, it means that you can handle stress, your are a teamplayer and a go-get'er. Here you are encouraged to think for yourself and be creative. Mindless drones do not get work in the IT-industry.
I uze "OCZ Ultra II Premium Zilver Compound" to create my very zpecial "Zark Zervo'z Very Zpecial Vampire Repellant", and now you tell me dat it vould not vork?
They want you to filter out all emails with legal random words. After a while, many of the emails you want will be filtered out. This will force you to manually filter your spam-folder. They can then send spam as normal and you will read them because you do not want to lose legit email.

I checked it the day after. It was still beautiful.
A simulator is just some code to stimulate input to your code. Simulator != a big box with a joystick and 3D-glasses and force feedback.
People tend to think of MS Flight Simulator when they hear the word 'simulator'.

Yes. This was yesterday.
Yes. I use old hardware.

They won't be able to resist the charm of a maniac.
Ach und ach noch ein Mal!
This is just an assumption. I do not know this.
All I have to do is break my leg and some nice people will buy me games?
-useragent=`fortune` That way they could not simply filter out your useragent from their logs.
