Well, on the Fox network's website, they have an FAQ which asks if copies of older programs are available for purchase. They respond, No... Try asking your friends if anyone has a copy they recorded. So as long as I only download material that was at one time played on the Fox tv network (shows, movies, music that was in the soundtrack...), and i call everyone on the kazaa network my "friend"... Then I shouldn't have a problem. Right?
Sounds like you used an unchecked variable. I suggest you use bash, cron, and NFS to write a simple update system that when you throw a new file in/usr/updates (for example) the next time cron runs the bash script it will check for files in that share and install them. Come on... It's not hard to push updates from one machine to all... And why are you running 8 mailservers open to the outside world? Do you work for hotmail? I would suggest having two mailservers open to the outside world and setup in DNS with MX records. Firewall off sendmail on the other boxes from the LAN and just use it as daemons to send mail out of the box.
Yeah... I mean, I've been making sites for years. Hell, I AM a pro at it. And I never bothered to learn the protocol. But I will say that you need to know a whole lot more than just HTML to make "pages like the pros". Open this one for example... I didn't know anything about the HTTP &$#%^#^%# -CARRIER TERMINATED-

I just posted an eBay auction for a song I bought from the iTunes music store. It should be interesting to see how this works out. I only spent $0.99 on it but I bought the song just as legally as I would a CD, so I should be able to sell it used just as legally right?

I'm fine with the winner donating directly to eBay the EFF [typo or freudian slip?], but may request some money to cover the cost of the eBay auction if it gets too out of hand and I can't afford it. [The cost of the auction is a function of the ending price, which is why I want to see legitimate buyers only. eBay will get its cut, unless they waive auction fees when the profits go to non-profits.]

This is an experiment in property rights in the digital age, something that's gotten surprisingly little attention. 2. I've read the iTunes agreements and found nothing denying transferability. This isn't any more a commercial venture than selling CDs at the local music store, I'm not incorporated or even DBA. Furthermore, in case anyone thinks this is a cheap way to make a buck I will be donating all profits to the EFF. 3. When the song is successfully transferred, I will not be keeping a copy of the song. If I don't own it I shouldn't have a copy.
I met a guy just last week who was running linux with a few kernel mods to give him realtime encryption on the whole OS, then was running XP over the top of it in an emulator. There were a few things he couldn't do, but for someome who wants to be sure their data is secure, and doesn't know linux, I thought it was a great solution. It was setup by a firm who does encrypted systems. I do not have the name of the firm.

I'll have to give you that. I like OS X, to an extent. But I would much rather have a different GUI on it. Maybe something simple like fluxbox.
