    code cleaning is the worse approach you can possibly fathom. thats why they 'say' they will 'lay' groundwork for future microsoft 'products' so that they will be inherently 'more' secure.

    if this actually happens it benefits alot of people who use microsoft products which seems to be quite a few people so it good if it happens. it still wont stop people from using oss so this can only be good if it happens and windows is actually written from scratch just like windows 2000 was ;P

    generators or any people who live on the moon for a long period of time may not be able to visit the earth again. sure its cool to be able to have bases on the moon but what is their purpose? to alleviate chinas overpopulated cities?

    i would love for this to happen, especially to the people who like manual cars so much :P but the more you rely on computers the potential of crackers increases (but then again traffic lights are computer controlled).

    i mean it happened to kidnappster and other p2p programs. because bittorent as far as i know isnt connected to any commercial entity could you be sued for damages?

    if somebody know you have this 'protection' simply use the computer without an internet connection, or even take out the harddrive and but it another machine.

    these copies on the internet would hurt dvd sales more than anything (if thats true at all... what is true, this post? this red leather chair is cool?). this article has lost the plot.

    if the movie is shit it hurts sales. this is the most true truth. im not saying the matrix reloaded is shit (i thoroughly enjoyed it). sorry i had to make it so obvious but people have short attention spans and even shorter fuses.
