Yes but the 100% statement is still wrong if that's the case. The SPV is also available in France (and possibly other countries in Europe where Orange operates). Don't know about the XDA. Also I forgot to mention the Neonode - a very nice looking Windows CE based phone from a Swedish start-up (apparently some of the guys behind the Sony Ericsson P800).
Sorry about the second link. Try this one instead. While I agree that the SPV is crap, the reason it's out of stock is because Orange have stopped making them now that they have a nice shiny new SPV v2 coming out (I think there was information about it if you follow the first link).
I wasn't saying that these phones were very popular. All I was doing was pointing out that the "100% of cellphones don't use Windows" statement was a bit of a sweeping generalisation.
I don't want to run a 3000+ on a 133MHz bus - I want to know if it will work with Palomino core XPs as well. I have an old 1800+ that could do with a good kick up the backside, and the less superglue it involves the better:)
I'd agree if it wasn't for the fact that the Gamecube controller seems to be the only one that actually takes ergonomics into account in its design. The PS2 controller has got what are probably the worst analog sticks ever conceived and the XBox controller is only bearable if you use the smaller ones.
I think Scotland was split almost diagonally from south-west to north-east, with those in the west speaking Gaelic and the rest speaking Old Scots. The areas that Gaelic still remains spoken in are primarily on the west coast; to the majority of the population it may as well be a dead language - there were only 65,000 Gaelic speakers recorded in the 2001 census.
Haven't heard any mention about how the screen will survive the inevitable rough and tumble of your average night out. I currently have a Siemens SL45i which has a scratch resistant coating on the screen which helps against the odd drop. Nights out are expensive enough as it is without having to buy yourself a new one of these the next morning as well.
I'm sure Bill Bryson once wrote that the Royal Mail (UK postal service) would manage to deliver a letter even if you addressed it to
Someone,
That little house on top of the big hill,
You know the one - just past the Jones',
Muggingly-Upon-Fake-River
whereas the US postal service would just return your letter as undeliverable if it was a bit too much of an effort.
Well I'm sure that Disney can hold a patent on Tarzan...

What about the Orange SPV?
Or the O2 XDA?

I don't know; how is your Gaelic?
Crap. But then I'm from a part of Scotland (Aberdeen) that has never spoken Gaelic. It's more a West-coast and Highlands and Islands kind of thang.
I was under the impression that 2nd World coutries were communist (or ex-commie) countries like Romania.
